Anyone see Once Upon a Time last Sunday? Hopefully they will give it a shot as it was really good. Its rated high by the critics but when has that made a show a sure thing. It takes characters from fairy tales and puts them in the modern world where they know nothing of their previous existence because of a curse laid by the evil queen. I like books by Charles DeLint and Robert Holdstock where myths and the everyday world butt heads so this is right up my alley! I really like it, and hope it continues. I wonder if the the owner of the town (Rasputin) knows what is going on since he is the one who gave the evil queen the spell. I'm more worried about "Grimm" since it is against "Supernatural," and "Fringe," and I like all of them. I like Once Upon a Time and Grimm. Good fun. I thought it was Rumplestiltskin who gave the queen the spell...although it would be interesting to bring Rasputin into the mix. :-)

What I wonder is if the evil queen/mayor remembers who she is. If not, what good is cursing someone if you can't gloat over their misfortune?

I watched Grimm, too, but only because Fringe was pre-empted by game 7 of the World Series. IMO, Grimm has a long way to go before it's even half as good as Fringe - especially now that Peter's back! Is it Friday yet?

The new fall season is upon us. Anything new that catches your fancy or looks promising? One I want to be sure and catch is Elementary. I've seen most of the BBC Sherlock so I can't help but wonder what the American take will be. Another is Revolution. The premise sounds suspiciously like the books by S.M. Stirling but it is by JJ Abrams of Lost so I thought I'd check it out. Finally Vegas. What can I say, love that Dennis Quaid!

I'm not sure I can buy into "Revolution." So they have no power. Go see the Amish. Rebuild machines. Did lighting disappear? Wind machines? What made the power go off? You can build radios from crystals. You can use soldering iron by putting them in open fires. Somebody mentioned steam machines. I like "Grimm.'

Me, can't wait until Once Upon a Time is back. Hopefully they won't have that second season blues that hits so many shows!

I love Once Upon a Time! I also really enjoyed Touch. Usually shows that I like never get renewed so I'm happy that both of these did. I think OUAT is next Sunday.

Season two of Once Upon a Time! Yay!!! At first I thought it was flashbacks to life before the curse but noooo and I'm loving the twist they pulled. And magic has returned but looks as if its only for the Evil Queen Regina.

I thought it was awesome too. Great idea to have a summary of season one right before.

I am so loving Once Upon a Time right now. Rumplestilskin is so nasty yet you can't help feeling for him at the same time. The new characters of Mulan and Aurora haven't exactly grabbed me but Captain Hook, oh yeah. What is it about a man in leather

Has anyone else seen The Following with Kevin Bacon? Though its just a tv show its scary to think how easily one person can manipulate others.

Never heard of it but I'll look for it. It happens over and over though. People are manipulated into believing and following things and people that make no sense. I don't get that at all.

I just watched the pilot. Had me on the edge of my seat a lot of the time. Scary to think he would use his own son and that he could talk people into kidnapping him. Can't wait to watch the next one!

I know, you never know what's going to happen next. Though Joe is scary in how he controls people Emma creeps me out far more than he does!
