anyone else experience this? when i'm walking to my truck in the parking ramp at the hosp,, one of the over head lights inevitably goes out,, when driving down a street or road,, one of the street lights goes out i feel i have an "energy" level, for lack of a better word,, it isn't every light,, but it happens at least once or twice a week,, it only happens to my d/h a few times a yr,,

What a relief that someone else said this! This happens to me all the time. I've even had people with me say, "Wow. I've never seen a street light go out before." I just keep my mouth shut!
I have to think that it is coincidental.
Whispers to self, "There is nothing creepy going on. There is nothing creepy going on. There is nothing creepy going on. "

Dogma and Anna, I'm playing a little Twilight Zone music for you right now. Were you two in the area when we had that East Coast Blackout a few years back?

No, it's not Twilight Zone.
I think it the halogen lights. They are soooo bright it trips the electronic eye in the lights. Making them go out.
Of course, it just might be.....The Outer Limits.
Did you lose time? Have you checked for alien implants under your skin? Seen any Vulcans lately?
Later, Carl

Later, Carl now, carl,, # 1 - i don't have halogen lights # 2 - i am WALKING to my truck, alone, with no other vehicles driving by, in the 5 level parking ramp # 3 - it's been happening for years and years.. when i am alone, or with friends, or my husband,, and they do comment on the light going out,, wondering why,,, i wasn't in the east coast for the blackout,, so i can't say i had anything to do with that, or the hundreds of babies born 9 months later if not the twilight zone,, then maybe it just means we do have a special "force",, may the force be with us !!! ;D

Don't get too close to me, or you will be bloated, dead, and in the dark. Egad! That must have been a nightmare. One of the ambulance drivers from here in Jonesboro was at The Med when they brought Elvis in, and he called his dispatcher here in town, who called the media. That is how the story got out. Did you know that Elvis' funeral caused a nationwide flower shortage? Even in Las Vegas, NEW MEXICO, where I lived, we couldn't get our orders from the Denver wholesalers because all the flowers were being shipped to Memphis. Totally off the subject, but maybe a little interesting...

No, but I was in Memphis when Elvis died. Egad! That must have been a nightmare. Oh, it was a circus. It was so long ago that I don't remember all of the details. Three of us were in town on business. One of the employees at the company where we were working staggered into the conference room where we were set up, clung to the doorframe, and told us that Elvis was dead. I believe it was the next morning when she solemnly told us that she would never, ever part with the tickets that she had to what was supposed to be his next Memphis concert - even for a 100% refund! (Such cattiness from a woman who flew to New York to see a certain blonde dude in a play. ) If you can believe it, there was some sort of big convention being held in Memphis during the weekend after Elvis's death, and many of the hotel rooms were booked. So people were pouring into town to pay homage, as well as people pouring in for the convention. We packed up our stuff and got the heck out of Dodge.

I've had lights go out on me before. The large floodlights on the main building would go out whenever I was walking across the quad in college. I've allways found it a bit creepy.
