Frank Grillo and Marisol Nichols are both starring in the new series, The Gates on ABC. They are playing husband and wife.

assuming it was on tonight--I missed it. I'll try it next week if someone will remind me. Maybe it's better the second time around, Maggie.

I DVR'd it and have not watched it yet. I saw first five min. and looks kind of weird and I read one bad review.

I agree -- I hardly recognized Marisol Nichols. But it was nice to see her and Frank Grillo again. After seeing the first episode, I'm reserving judgment. It may turn out to be worth watching -- or not. FWIW, the author of the review in the New York Times thinks it's a satire and likes it, at least for some summer fun. I'll watch the second episode from that perspective, and see what I think.

One more show I don't get without cable. But it doesn't sound like I am missing much.
I did see a series premiere last night called White Collar (OK). It was a SP for me, it's a local station that gets things several months after. Michael Gaston had a teeny tiny role in it! Most of the gang is back hey, with one very noticeable absence.

I watched every episode. My favorite scenes were with Frank. I thought he did a good job of playing his part. I would like to see it some more. The teen stuff in it was not that interesting to me. I know they probably put it in there to get more teens to watch. It is a hard balance to keep dark stuff from getting too dark and turning a lot of people off. The twilight stuff was as much about the teen pinup stuff so that's why I think they had to include that.
