Anyone.....?? Anyone??...... I just discovered it, and have watched 3 seasons in about 3 weeks. Now in middle of season 4, and also watching season 5 now. Love it!

It's easily the best thing in TV. It's so good it shocks me that it's even being made. I got into it right before the start of Season 2 and have now watched everything multiple times, sometimes with commentary, and each episode is more brilliant each time I see it, especially when I can fit it in with the grand scheme of what's going on. There's never an episode that I want to skip because I'm tired of it. I'm always happy to see whatever is next. It's always a little weird to be watching new episodes because each season has a different feel as it goes deeper into the sixties, but it's never any less wonderful. I have a strange fondness for Pete Campbell, although he's not in a very good place this season.

I have a strange fondness for Pete Campbell, although he's not in a very good place this season. I certainly agree with all your assessment. The writing is amazing with not one throw away line, and rewatching is a must! I was almost depressed when I watched the last of season four and only have season 5 week to week. On the IMDb board there is much discussion about someone's death this season,,,always much speculating that it is Pete and a suicide. I don't think so though. I think Weiner just likes to keep us on our toes....but along that line, check this out, especially the video. www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/05/07/mad-men-death-watch-the-many-death-symbols-of-season-5-video.html

Cool article! And that video makes me realize just how creepy this season has been so far. I've read speculation that Roger dies, but it could definitely be Pete. Poor Trudy. I thought they were doing great since Season 3 so this year is just weird. I guess he isn't taking well to the suburbs--or to fatherhood.

In an article about Mad Men: "Meanwhile, Weiner tells me he’s extremely pleased with the public reaction to the new season of Mad Men, which was delayed due to contract negotiations and spent 17 months off the air. It returned to its highest ratings ever and generally good reviews, setting it up for a run at a possible unprecedented 5th consecutive Best Drama Series Emmy. Weiner didn’t wish to speculate on that but did say the final 3 episodes of this season are the best in the series’ history."
Can't wait to see what is in store for the crew at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.

I can't believe it can be better than the drunk secretary on the lawnmower episode. Or the season three finale. I can't wait!

I can't believe it can be better than the drunk secretary on the lawnmower episode. Or the season three finale. I can't wait! LOL.....that was quite an episode. I love reading IMDb message board. I learned Joan in the blood splattered pink dress at the hospital was a take off of Jackie Kennedy. And nothing made me laugh as hard as Mrs. Blankenship giving Don his messages. "Mr Drapah, while you were in the toilet your daughter's psychiatrist called.".. And of course Mrs. Blankenship's final episode with them removing her behind the client's back. Priceless. Time to go DVR this week's episode!
