Yes, LL thanks for your hard work. And like BJO, I will be glad to help in any way possible. Hope lives on.

This isn't really about the DVD release date, but I wasn't sure where to put it. I read in one of those Q and A columns in my TV guide about this. Apparently this site, www.savemyshow.com, is the only one out there that actually sends the results to the networks. Here's what the blurb said: Show your support for any of the television shows listed below by voting for them on our site. Periodically we mail a report showing the results of the vote to TV Network Executives, Network Presidents, Producers, TV Studios, Newspapers, Radio Stations, and other Media Outlets. Did anyone know about this? Oh, if only we had known a year and a half ago!

I don't remember that site. I do remember going onto one that had several shows that were in danger of being cancelled and voting for BJ. If I had known I would have gone there and voted too. Darn!

I think I went to the same site as you did--more than once. I'm sure we all would have gone if we had known.

I believe I posted this a while back in one of the threads, but in June when I mentioned to the blond dude that I had, for very selfish reasons, tried to save his job, he said that was sweet but that it would never have worked because it wasn't ratings that killed Blind Justice. What was its ultimate demise is that there was some sort of arrangement wherein ABC television had to pay a fee to televise the show so it was replaced with something of their own that they didn't have to pay to air. If that is true (and I certainly have no reason to doubt him) voting on one site or the other to save our beloved show wouldn't have made an ounce of difference.

That is sooo sad, isn't it?

And I can certainly attest to that conversation, as I was standing there myself when the three of us talked about it and those were his exact words.

The other day I was just goofing around and came across a site that sells dvds of television shows. It was milk something or other--I don't remember exactly. Anyway, they listed Blind Justice as available. The price of several of these sets were $90 and up. I have no intention of buying anything from them but wondered if anyone had heard of this site.
edited to add--I remembered what the site was tvmilk.com and went back to it. Of course, I couldn't find BJ on it so it must have been somewhere else but my question still pertains. When some of these shows aren't available on sites like tvshowsondvd etc. how legit are they??

Many times they offer complete series of shows that aren't available at all. Can't be the real thing in my mind.

I wonder how they can get away with it considering what happened with Napster? You would think that studios etc. would have their legal eagles on the lookout for any infringements of their copyrights.

Taking a page from Inuvik, I decided to hop over to tvshowsondvd since I hadn't visited that site in a while. After gasping from the price for season one of Heroes (nearly $100 !!), I saw that FNL was only $29.98 (good news for Mouse and other fans). Checking ucoming releases, I began to stew. Black Donnellys is coming out in September-- the complete season of just 13 episodes along with deleteted scenes--and Rules of Engagement with only 7 epsiodes plus a blooper reel, a set tour and bonus previews! Argghhh!

I'm sure you could find Heroes cheaper somewhere else. I saw an ad today in the paper from HMV (one of our leading DVD/CD chains) for $50.

I just clicked on that link and it does say "all 13 episodes". Maybe they realised their mistake and corrected it?
