If I was to do this I know I would forget to check for the answer. This is not a site I normally visit. Maybe someone who checks the site frequently could do it? I don't go on his site, but if someone gives me the address, I'll do it. I won't forget to check. Thanks Anita, it's kind of you! www.frank-grillo.com/qanda.htmBlessed are...those with good memories.

The deed is done. Now all we have to do is keep out fingers crossed that he answers and knows something. You can be sure I'll let you know. ;D

I got an email back from the webmistress of the site. She said the next batch of questions won't be going out until the beginning of April. Frank is in Savannah GA filming the pilot for 'Hollis and Rae.' The Q & A will appear on the site if he responds.
Again, fingers crossed.

It's official: Steven Bochco no longer has offices on the Twentieth Century Fox lot. It's more than the old phone/Fax numbers no longer working.
I used the one year anniversary of the Blind Justice premiere as an excuse to write one more letter to Mr. Bochco, thanking him for the show and cordially requesting information about possible DVD release. The letter was mailed March 10th.
The letter came back today. The address had been blacked out with a Magic Marker and pasted over it was a label that read:
Twentieth Century Fox RETURN TO SENDER Addressee No Longer Here (that box was checked)
So where the heck are his offices these days?
And where do we go from here?
Damn!

I know Longlashes said the LA address was valid, but it's worth trying this address! If we get returned mail then we will know for sure!

As of today the LA address on the Fox lot is defunct . . . but Chatsworth? Seems a little off the beaten path. But worth a try. Modified to add:I just checked the link, and that's the Dun & Bradstreet information, which may mean it's simply where the company is registered. Anybody know more about this? mlm88? longlashes?

As of today the LA address on the Fox lot is defunct . . . but Chatsworth? Seems a little off the beaten path. But worth a try. Well, it's no more off the beaten path than the rest of The Valley. Seeing a Chatsworth address with an (818) phone number makes me a tad bit homesick. I have no idea if that's a valid address or not, but it wouldn't surprise me. A lot of production companies are located in The Valley because it's cheaper than office space in L.A. or Hollywood. And keep in mind that Northridge, home of the famous 1994 earthquake, is the porn capital of the world and that's right next to Chatsworth. Okay. That has nothing to do with anything, but I did want to point out that there's lots of filming and producing going on, even in The Valley. (Can you tell I lived within ten miles of that Chatsworth address for most of my life? I'm proud and ashamed at the same time.)

I knew a native would know! Well . . . this really is a stretch . . . I know Over There filmed in Chatsworth, or just outside of it. You might even speculate -- wildly -- that SBP relocated there last summer. But that's not right, since the address on the Fox lot was valid at least through the holidays -- it was was listed on the ABC website when SB was still producing Commander in Chief. And Over There went out of production months ago. So we're back to square one. Next step, a phone/Fax/email listing for the Chatsworth address?

I checked the California Secretary of State's web site, and they still show the address on the Fox lot. Corporations are only required to update their information once a year, unfortunately. I suppose one could send a letter addressed to Steven Bochco Productions, Inc., c/o the agent for service of process (see earlier post) and mark it "Please Forward." Of course, there's no guarantee it wouldn't end up in the circular file.

I just Googled Steven Bochco -- for the 400th time -- and the first few listings rolled me over to IMDb. When I clicked on the "Contact Information" link for Steven Bochco, up popped an announcement that said this information was available only to "IMDb Pro" subscribers for $14.95 a month. Which I'm not.
Does anyone on the board have this subscription?

I am pretty doggone sure that one can sign up for a free 30 day trial of IMDB pro. During that 30 day free trial there is no doubt in my mind that one could absolutely find Mr. Bochco's contact information. There might be some fancy footwork involved visa vie unsubscribing before the trial period ends and the charges kick in, but I don't think it would be too much of a leap of faith for the person who decides to do this. I would do it myself, but I have already used my free 30 day trial.
Who is seeing Doubt next? Whoever it is, ask Mr. Eldard what he knows about the DVD release date. I would have, but I was too busy gushing, picking myself up off the ground, and gushing some more.

I never even thought to ask! I was too busy gushing too. I just googled Steven Bochco and found one of those celebrity address websites. I don't know how much you can trust them but there were two addresses for SB. One was the LA address and the other was: Bochco Steven 694 Amalfi Drive Pacific Palisades, CA 90272 What do you think? Is it worth a shot? I don't mind writing a letter. Haven't found a phone/fax yet. I'm still looking. P.S. A few of us--including yours truly--are going in August to see Doubt, but that is a long ways away.

I just thought of something! I have Bochco's book 'Death by Hollywood.' What if I wrote a letter to him in care of the publisher? Do you think it would find him or not? I think it's Random House, but I'm not sure. This is what it says on the back of the title page: A Fawcett book published by The Random House Publishing Group, a division of Random House Inc. NY. Under that it has a website: www.ballantinebooks.com Is that part of Random House or what? I need to go look, because if you think it might work, I need a complete address.

Good idea! When I worked for Random House many years ago, letters written to their authors c/o Random House and marked "please forward" were forwarded. I have no idea if that's still the practice, but it's worth a try.
