Whoa! This is interesting, longlashes. Not to mention confusing. Are these the numbers for Bochco that have been disconnected? Just Googled Steven Bochco Productions and this is what I got.
Steven Bochco Productions 20th Century Fox Studios 10201 W Pico Blvd - BUilding One Los Angeles, CA 90035 Phone: (310) 369-2400 FAX: (310) 369-3236

Yes, that is the information I originally had for Bocho but, having tried both the phone and fax number, the message indicates that "You have reached a non-working number for Fox. Please check the number you are dialing and try your call again."
I continued to google and search and came up with a totally different fax number, and got exactly the same thing. There was no option to select operator assistance, so I sent the letter there instead via snail mail. My first letter to Bochco went certified.
Two strikes so far - but we're not out of the game yet because I am not going to quit until I find someone, somewhere who can help!

I'd say that's worrying . . . but it's clear that you're not going to give up. Karma for your perseverence and ingenuity, and keep us posted!
I wonder what plain old directory assistance for the area code would get? Hmmmmm.

Maggie, I tried LA Directory Assistance today - no listing for Steven Bochco Productions, Bochco Productions or a Day in the Boch, LLC.
Next up, perhaps I'll try to see if there is anything on D & B for the Limited Liability Company.
I must keep digging, I must keep digging! Oh, and I will!

For what it's worth, here is what the California Secretary of State's web site has listed for Steven Bochco Productions, Inc.:
Corporation STEVEN BOCHCO PRODUCTIONS, INC. Number: C1623872 Date Filed: 9/30/1988 Status: active Jurisdiction: California Address 10201 W PICO BLVD BLDG 1 LOS ANGELES, CA 90035 Agent for Service of Process DONALD P WALERSTEIN 11777 SAN VICENTE BLVD #747 LOS ANGELES, CA 90049
There was nothing listed for the LLC. Mr. Walerstein is an attorney (per the California State Bar web site).

Thanks Inuvik, but the L.A. address is valid. I did a directory search today for area code 818 (Chatsworth would fall within those boundaries) for Steven Bochco Productions, Bocho Productions and A Day in the Boch, LLC, thinking that perhaps the company might be associated with the Burbank offices as opposed to the L.A. office. No listing anywhere in the 818 calling or surrounding areas. So, I sent emails today to Touchstone Television (Bochco signed a production contract with Touchstone), ABC television and Twentieth Century Fox as well as F/X because of the association with Over There. Still pushing, still trying!

I was looking on tvshowsondvd site and they list BJ as owned and licensed by 20th Century Fox. Okay, so doing some hunt and peck, Fox Home Entertainment ,Inc is part of News America Group which is part of News America,Inc. Their address is-
News America,Inc. 1211 Avenue of the Americas 8th Fl. New York,NY 10036-8705
This company also owns FX, where Over There was shown.
tvshowsondvd also had Over There as its featured dvd, available March 21. It has 13 episodes. How I saw it in the video store last week, I have no idea unless this is a special or extended version of the show.
Does this company seem worth the effort of contacting or what?

Does this company seem worth the effort of contacting or what? What can it hurt? No stone unturned! Thanks for digging.

I haven't tried contacting anyone through the "news" angle yet but I have sent a letter to 20th Century Fox Television and the F/X Network. Just waiting to hear from someone, somewhere, anywhere.... and in the meantime, I'll send out my standard little blurb letter on Monday to this address as well! As Anita said, it certainly can't hurt!

It definitely can't hurt. But didn't someone already contact 20th Century Fox, and they said they didn't have the rights to it? I'm pretty sure they did, and we concluded that tvshowsondvd must be incorrect.
However, that was many moons ago, and perhaps since then they did acquire the rights.
Maybe someone could send a q and a to Frank Grillo on his site, asking him if he knows anything about a release. He could have been asked to do a commentary or something.

So go for it, inuvik . . . although Frank Grillo has definitely moved on, first to Prison Break and now to the new Bochco ABC pilot Hollis and Rae, currently shooting in Savannah. But he's been responsive to fans in the past -- couldn't hurt!

Maybe someone who checks the site frequently could do it?
