I watched at least a couple of episodes every weekend that I was home pretty much from the time I first saw Four Feet Under over spring break until the following February, when I found a new TV show obsession. If this thread is meant to be a subtle plea, conceder this mine. Don't leave us hanging E--what was the new obsession? ;D I've contemplated starting this thread for a while and since you asked I figured I should. I've managed to become quite obsessed with watching Numb3rs each week. I read a few fanfics and knew I had to start watching. I just fell in love with the characters. Also not long after I began watching, the show was picked up for a third season, so not having to worry about falling in love with a show and having it canceled after a few months, made me feel better about becoming a tiny bit obsessive. And I found a Numb3rs forum and chat room which gives me even more stuff to look at while wasting time on the internet. So, any other fans out there?

I really love Numb3rs. I've liked Rob since his days on Northern Exposure.

I've managed to become quite obsessed with watching Numb3rs each week. I read a few fanfics and knew I had to start watching. Do I get credit for this, since I posted the rec for the Numb3rs fic Skewed? Bwah! I like Numb3rs too. It's not quite an addiction with me, but I do actually make an effort to remember when it's on and watch it - something that I do for few shows. Also, since it's popular, there's lots of fic, so that's fun.

I LOVE Numb3rs. It's smart, it's funny, the writing is crisp and specific, and the cast is terrific (although I still wish Diane Farr hadn't left Rescue Me, where she played a much more interesting character). It's the one show I would call "appointment TV," although that will change next week when the new season of Rescue Me starts. Plus they explain the math concepts in such a way that I actually understand them, which makes me feel a little smarter than someone who won't make a simple subtraction in her checkbook without using a calculator.

I decided to add here - in case there is any question about my complete nerdiness - that I was on the math team in high school. That's right - not basketball, not cheerleading - the math team. We went to competitions! We won trophies! We were all the bespectacled awkward teenagers you could ever imagine together in one big room! Maybe that's why I like Numb3rs.

Did anyone else watch the season premier last night? I love relationships between the characters. And Larry. I love Larry, he makes me laugh. I can't wait to see part 2 next week. I tried to record last nights episode but I forgot to turn off the power to the VCR and so it didn't record. I'm quite disapointed. I was going to record all of the episodes in the order that they aired, I guess I'll have to leave a space on the tape for it. I just hope it airs again, I'm worried that being a two parter these episodes may not repeat all that frequently.
