Hi, Thought I'd start a general thread as I was looking for someplace to put this without starting a new thread--no luck! I sent this out today to my friends with cats. I put: "Good grief--and I thought reality TV couldn't get any worse..." However, maybe those with cats might like this? Don't know. To me, this sounds ridiculous. Almost like a satire, so maybe it's postmodern and cool though--who knows. news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060609/ap_en_tv/tv_reality_cats_9

I think it's a clever marketing campaign, and there are ten lucky cats right there. And ten lucky owners, to get a year's worth of Meow Mix.
It's not near as ridiculous as say, Jerry Springer. *Urk*

While some of it seems silly, it is hard to argue the fact that at least ten animals will end up finding homes. Guaranteed we won't have to watch them falling all over each other in skimpy bathing suits! (or in some cases--no clothes at all.)

What next! This week, in the local news, a boy caught a 4 foot alligator in a lake, here, in Indiana!!! I don't recall what became of the critter but if they haven't found somewhere for it yet, maybe they should have a contest for it too. As BJO said, at least the kitties will all find homes and hopefully, it will raise awareness of the need to spay and neuter your pet!

So what do you think? I was going to watch it out of curiousity, but I got home at ten after nine. Just missed it.
