Neato. Where did you find this--Ebay? Ebay it was. They actually came from Germany, but were released in China. So how accurate are the subtitles? --GB

episodes 1-8 are great. I think an english challenged person did the rest. They are broken, mixed up and have extra words in them. Sometimes I look at them and think, "They didn't say that!" But it's fun. I didn't get them for the subtitles anyway. I just thought it would be fun and the quality is good.
Belive it or not, the box has them rated R for language, sexual reference and drug use! It also says 2005 Comedy Partners. The Paramount logo is on the box as well. Go figure! The content is what was on tv and there are no extras, but still. We all know what that means. Makes for a good conversation piece anyway.

Forgot to say before: You know you watch a lot of Blind Justice when your dad walks into your room and says, "What are you watching? Blind Justice?"

I've only seen most of the episodes maybe twice. I've seen the pilot maybe 5 times, and the last episode, only once all the way through. (Forget that freakin' dance scene.) I've heard them on audio a few more times, but that's it. I like to savor the moment with an occasional viewing. Now, ask me how many times I've seen Daredevil.

Now, ask me how many times I've seen Daredevil. Soooo.....how many times? Just curious. (Not trying to drag it off track) Just this one question and answer ok? Modified to add: To keep this from going down a bunny trail you can pm me if you want unless other people want to know too.

I like to watch them only occasionally too, so I've seen the pilot a few times and most of the other episodes only 2 or 3 times each.

I never counted and I have absolutely no idea of how often I've watched. I tend to watch things I like over and over and I did that quite a lot as the aired and then even more when my supplier ( ) sent me my DVDs, but I hate to admit I have only seen one episode since Christmas. The TV season got too packed and I was always catching up on things I'd taped. I'm looking forward to being able to watch an episode now and then over the summer, but I don't have the urge to overdo it anymore.

I was first in line to buy the dvd, and can't tell you really how many times I've watched it. When the director's cut came out, I was at walmart at midnight to buy it. That is the dvd that stays in the player most. I have favorite scenes that I watch more, and some things that I skip entirely. I love the scene in the cafe where he's talking to Foggy, and Elektra walks in. The playground scene is kind of silly, but it's right out of the comic books. When Matt is getting ready for the day, it's a sad commentary on his lonely life. Great hand moments when he reads the braille tags on his suits, and folds his money into his wallet. The director's cut adds in a couple of scenes that I really love: when he and Foggy are crossing the street, and the cab almosts runs them over ("Hey, I got a blind guy here!), and when Matt and Foggy go to investigate the murder scene at the prostitute's place. ("Where did you learn that, real estate law? Must have been absent that day.") Ok, back to your regularly scheduled thread...

I also have a box set from China of the first 12 eps with Chinese and English subtitles, and a few different promo dvd's of the first three. The most recent one is an emmy dvd that was sent around to be considered for an award. (It has only the Pilot). It has completely different music than the version shown on tv. The music they went with is soooo much better than what is on this dvd. . Do they speak in German? I have seen other shows where they have been dubbed into umptenth laguages and it is really bizzare to see and hear a favorite character and be totally unable to understand a word they say! Fav. scenes--as Lori said far far too many to mention but I would have to include the shootout from the Pilot because it has so much action packed into such a small amount of time, talk about utilization of space!, and the ending of Four Feet Under with Jim in the park, the first time get to see how really vunerable he is as he lets his guard down. It didn't matter that he was alone!

It's all in English with Chinese and English subtitles available. So no, Jimmy is not speaking Chinese.

Having been a Ron fan since ER days, I was ecstatic that he was going to be on on a weekly basis, so I went a little overboard in the beginning. Then there wasn't much on in the summer, so I ODed on them again. Then, I scored the season on DVD from some Quebecois chick (no bleeped doalogue!) and then the rough cut of episodes 1-3 from some NYC dude (the original music/theme is better -- not so syrupy).
But generally, I -- like Mags-- rarely watch anymore. So the tally for me is about 50 viewings of the Pilot (my favorite) maybe 30 of the next 6 and maybe 15 of the rest. And many more viewings of my favorite scenes. I've listened to the audio description once each.
Now that it's summer, with a dearth of new shows, it may be time for BJ to make a reappearance on my DVD player!

I'd forgotten about the audio descriptions. I have them all on my mp3 player (although I rarely listen to them-I like music better). I have listened for Up on a Roof a couple of times while working and I listened to Leap of Faith, Past Imperfect, In Your Face and Doggone several times right after they aired because I ususally didn't get to see the episodes until Thursday evening.

This isn't totally the best thread for this, but it sort of fits.
I am watching BJ again after a year and I'm wondering if anyone else has this experience.
As I watch them, I find myself distracted all the time by remembering things from the Board! I'll remember comments about a scene from someone, or the long discussions we have had, etc. It's actually a little too distracting!
Anyone else find this? Or is it just me? I guess I spend too much time here!
(It is enriching too, just if I remember too much it can be distracting. )
