I don't know if this will take off or not. But, I just thought about the acronym question posed by Inuvik.
Whether they be well-known or just made-up recently post your acronym question and see what answers you get.
I'll start:
What is this acronym: BJO
(It's an easy one)

What is this acronym: BJO Ummm...Blind Justice Obsessed? Just a thought. Acronyms are the bane of my existence. Interpreting at a government agency, they come up all the time and I'm supposed to instantly know which ones are to be pronounced as the whole words, which are pronounced as what the acronym spells, and which are to be stated as the individual letters. I learned early on that when I hear the word "sequel," they are referring to SQL, not to the sequel of a book. One time I had to voice a computer code walk through that was completely filled with these abbreviated terms that each represented something with which I was unfamiliar and I asked the Deaf person (who was running the meeting) exactly how she wanted me to say each acronym in English and she didn't have the faintest idea of what to tell me. We eventually had to have a meeting with her boss to go over all the terminology and I still didn't get all of it right. Now (a year later) I'm starting to get the hang of it, but it's an uphill battle. So...acronyms! Yay! I don't even know all the commonly-used internet acronyms, but I do know what ROTFL means as well as IMHO.

I was thinking more of acronyms like NASCAR and SCUBA. Sorry. I went off on a bit of an acronym rant. It happens. The word "acronym" makes me a bit tense because of all the trouble those pesky things cause me in my daily life so...maybe I actually have a fear of acronyms! And I have no idea what NASCAR or SCUBA really are! I've heard the SCUBA one before, but I obviously didn't retain it. My brain hurts.
