This isn't quite his lip bite --more his Dunbar's thinking mode--in Mystery,Alaska he is sitting and thinking in the locker room with his hands to his mouth in the now-classic thinker pose

It shows up in The LAst Supper too! You can't miss it when he is at the police office talking to the woman sheriff and looking at mug shots.

One of the women in the Yahoo group found her old tape and is making VHS copies for those who want it. She probably is still doing that. Or, I could make you a copy on DVD if you want one. Contact me.

I was just rewatching Under the Gun and in the locker room when he is asking Karen about whether she would still be his partner if he didn't carry a gun there was a double lipe bit--in that one scene!

As long as he keeps using the lip bite for good instead of evil we will be fine. However, if he ever figures out how to harness the power of the bite, he could take over the world.

He does the lip bite so often in his roles, you just KNOW it's part of his personality. Wonder what sets it off in real life... hmmmm: Surf or Turf? (Bring on the lip bite!)

Wonder what sets it off in real life... hmmmm: In the episode of Politically Incorrect that I mentioned earlier, the lip bite apparently was set off by the prospect of discussing the topic "Gay Pride Parade: Good or Bad for Gay Rights" with Anne Coulter. And who can blame him?

I happened to be on the ron-eldard.com site the other day and saw they had posted some new caps, one being from his interview on Good Morning America promoting Blind Justice(which I happened to walk in on the end of ). Anyway in one he is doing the lip bite so it is absoutely a part of his personality---and a darn cute one too.
