I really tried to be and I have to say I thought of Carl when she was crossing the finish line. They were playing all kinds of encouraging music to keep them up, and as she was coming up the last 100 yards or so the song playing was the old Mary Tyler Moore theme song. "You're going to make it after all". I must say, tears in my eyes.
