See, this is one such thing I'm worried will happen when it comes time to hit NY. www.nyctransitstrike.com/As someone who flies into LaGuardia (HELLOOOO Queens!!) and is pretty fluent in subway, this is a scary thought for a bloody tourist. Shudder...

Not to worry. Where is the adventuress in you.
By-the-way, the Court ruled against the Union concerning the Strike. Ordered a $1M per-day fine.
Won't help the "foot-rush" today, I'm sure.
Lucy remembers the last strike about 20 years ago.

Bebe (or Divine Mrs E) are you out there? How was your commute from Queens to Manhattan today?

I finally made it home. ;D
Seriously, happy new year. I drove from Queens to Long Island, parked my car in my brother's driveway to grab the LIRR to Manhattan.
I passed my house along the way.
I waved.
Getting up at 4:45 was no treat.
