I found this website after seeing one of their ads yesterday evening: www.payattention.org/MediaRoom/PSAs.aspClick on the link to see some absolutely hilarious parodies of campaign ads, but with a serious message: "If you're not voting, then who are you electing?"

Great stuff. If you like that, check out www.adbusters.org/home/ They satirize media and ads in general, not only politics. One of their campaigns is "Buy Nothing Day", to raise awareness of the world's finite resources and the disparities between developed and developing countries. And--the group is Canadian.

Have you ever wondered if Big Foot has been spotted in your state? In your county? If you have here is the site for you: www.bfro.net/GDB/#usaIf you click on the home page you will find helpful pictures showing the contrast between humans dressed as Big Foot and an actual sasquatch. All in all a very educational site.

Here's something fun, especially for those of us of "a certain age" who can remember the people and events referred to: usaattacked.com/100_years_of_pictures.htmI recommend turning on your speakers and clicking on "Lyrics" in the lower right corner.

This is so much fun. Each time you 'click' your mouse button, it will change colour.

This was so cool. For someone who is not the least bit artistic but admires those who are, it was a lot of fun! And no mess to clean afterwards, always an added bonus. Thanks, Ashatan.

For a good laugh (paradoxically), check out: www.despair.comThe motto of their "Customer Disservice" department is "We're not satisfied until you're not satisfied."

Glad you got a chuckle out of it! Someone posted the link on my legal list serve, where we're having a discussion about how easy it is to be distracted from our work. We've even invented a new condition: "AOB-ADD" (short for Appellant's Opening Brief -- Attention Deficit Disorder). Of course, everyone here knows what my favorite distraction from work is! I think my personal favorite among the mugs is: "It Could Be That The Purpose of Your Life Is Only to Serve as a Warning to Others." "Hard Work Pays Off After Time, But Laziness Always Pays Off Now" is a close second.
