Well, another holiday is here and so are we.
My best to you all of you celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. Travel safe, drink in moderation, hope your team wins, you have no arguments, and strip that bird clean.
And to our international "family," the best to you and yours.
(Hey has anyone heard this? Cranberries are now an international food. They've become popular in Europe.)
Gobble, gobble,
Later, Carl

Thanks for starting this thread, Carl.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
I am very thankful for this board and for the fact that we still like to play even after all this time. You guys are wonderful and I love to know I can come here and feel completely at home and just goof off if I want to. Or I can get involved in a serious discussion. Or we can all just talk about TV or play games. This is a great group of people so...thank you all for that!
What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
We're going to spend it in New Jersey with a group of California Refugees; a nice group of people who were all friends with my older brothers since I was a teenager. My East Coast "family." It will be a lot of fun.

I couldn't agree more, Shmeep - my time here has been interesting, major fun and much to be cherished.
I will be in Vero Beach, Florida!

Are you just saying that because I'm heading over to your place and should be there in about an hour?
Have a safe trip and get back safe.
Later, Carl

Great. Flurries were spotted in Central Florida..... *sigh* Huge, gargantuan amounts of snow have been spotted falling outside my window--SIGH, and for the rest of the week also... (really really really frigid here too!) Sorry, just can't sympathize.

I can only echo the sentiments already expressed, that the fun and friendships found on this board are one of many things to be thankful for. Safe journey to all who are traveling this holiday.

I heartily concur with all that's been said, and my "official" holiday greeting is in the Limericks thread. What a wonderful community we have here! A safe and happy holiday to one and all! Mags

As we head into the holidays for the second time as a board, I have to take a minute to say thank you to each of you for helping me keep my sanity in all the dramatic situations during the past year.
What a board!

Dramatic situations? Here? Surely you jest. (And don't call me Shirley!) (I'm still in a "let's be funny" mood from the BJ Actors Studio thread this morning).

Happy Thanksgiving to all of those celebrating it this week. Since we've already celebrated it here in Canada, I'll probably be here on the board by myself alot of the time pressing the refresh button. Waiting, hoping someone will come on and play. Oh man that sounds pathetic! I need a life! You guys have a great safe holiday. Gobble gobble. Inuvik, we have no snow at all. In fact, it's quite warm.

Inuvik, we have no snow at all. In fact, it's quite warm. Well, that's good. I have no desire for others to have all this snow! (Just wait though..... )
