Same. Gotta lose weight. This is actually a continuing resolution, but now dr is telling me to do it, so can't ignore it. But I don't actually look even overweight! People were amazed when I told them I had to! (My annual physical was in Dec.). But, cholesterol is up too.
It's so hard to lose weight. Bebe, we can support each other!

I have never been a fan of resolutions. Never kept one in my life. But add me to the ranks of those needing to lose weight! I wear it fairly well, but there's a lot more of me than people think. Problem? With two pregnancies in the last few months, my hormones are all out of whack and I've been going up and down--mostly up. Every time I think I should go back on Weight Watchers (which worked very well for me in the past--I lost twenty-five pounds and got down to a size eight last year!), I remember that there's no point in doing that if we're going to try for a baby again so...I have decided that for now, weight is not something that should worry me. Plenty of time to worry about that later... At least I know that Weight Watchers works well for me. When I first met Kenina, she told me about it and got me all motivated to try it and the pounds just melted off. It's not even that difficult, but you really have to stick with it if you want to get results. The biggest thing it taught me was the concept of portion size--a weakness of mine. I always just thought it was okay to eat indefinitely, but it turns out that's a big part of my problem right there.

But I, too, may return to Weight Watchers. It worked for me when I was once a whopping 216 lbs., sporting a size 22W, and it brought me down to 160 lbs. wearing an 8-10! It's easier to do now, so they say. But, those of us who did it can support each other! Hello...this is Sarah....Dutchess of York...I'm so glad you called....
