I've posted a new "episode" here and at fanfiction.net: www.fanfiction.net/s/3013285/1/Jim and Christie go out on a date, but nothing is ever easy for Mr. and Mrs. Dunbar. That's what makes it so much fun to write about them!

I really like the way you've handled Christie in this story. Excellent!

I love. The Jim/Christie relationship seems very true to the show. More, more, more, please!

So glad you didn't wait to post part two. I love the way Marty stood up for Jim. And I like the Jim/Christie relationship too

Thanks MLM,
I really enjoyd the story. I liked the way Mary got so defensive about Jim! It was great to get an insight into how Christie sees things too.
I wonder why these two got together in the first place?
cheers! P.S. I am stunned you missed the chance to have Jim land a few punches so we could drool even more! So I just imagined the perps walking in back and blue...

Woof! You are sooooooooo good at this, mlm. The characters ring true, the police procedural elements are on the money, and the dialogue in the interrogation room crackled! Don't for a minute think of stopping.

I think this one has to be my favorite yet, MLM - it really would have made a hell of an episode - and I can run it in my head it's that visual! Great job with the underlying tension on every level of this one.

I agree with everything everyone has said but there has got to be more, yes? You can't leave us hanging! Until next week...

Can you believe I finally just caught this one today? Sorry I got behind, but I'm glad I had such an entertaining and suspenseful story to read as I ate my lunch. Nicely done! And I really like the way you made Christie shut herself off to him at the very end. Chilling, but realistic. Thanks for yet another good read.
