I have just posted Smoke and Mirrors. I hope you all enjoy it.
I don't know protocol for beta's here. I am not sure if Beta's like to be known or not. So I wont mention a name until I getOK. But I want to say thanks to myb eta for putting up with my learning curve! And for so much help. I am greatful for every comment, every spelling error you found, every coma and bleep. Your tireless work is so appreciated by me.
I know some of you are waiting for Lost and Found part two and it will come soon, ( what an ambiguous word that is!) but this one just made me write it and it will impact on L&F part two so I am glad it gotout before part 2 is posted!
I've been loving the fanfic thathas been comming out and hope you enjoy this one as well.

"Jim knew exactly when he’d stopped looking at her, but he began to wonder, now, when she’d stopped looking at him."
I love that sentence. Great job.

I have to agree with anna, That is a great line.
Love the scene with Jim on the phone pretending to be another cop. That was some great humour injected into a story that really has me hoping part two isn't far behind. Karen doesn't get rattled by too much and I can't wait to find out how all those bodies disappeared.

Great story. I loved the snarky side of Karen. Looking forward to more of your work.

Well, after today's drama, I was ready for a little light reading! But light this one wasn't - this sizzles! Excellent dialogue, terrific action, wonderful details, and a snipy Karen - what more could anyone want? Except perhaps Lost and Found?
I am so glad you prefaced this by saying that the next installment of Lost and Found is not that far away!

That little scene came in the final edit, good to know what you want so I can make sure you get it.

I was so excited to find 2 new fanfics when I finally got back on. What a great job you have done with this one! I loved every bit of it. Two of my fav parts were when Jim had to save Karen at the dock, proving, yet again, that he is so competent its scary and when he got fed up to here in the hospital and just walked out!

Natasha (Our lady from the future) :
Another talented person on this board. (Is there anyplace else that has so much talent packed into such a small space?)
A fanfic is a great thing.
I'm sending you Karma.
Again, Thanks
Later, Carl
