"And now for something completely different" -- and just for fun. My new fic, in the Fan Fiction section here, is a Blind Justice/House, M.D. crossover/parody. After the Jersey troopers find Jim in Hoboken in "Doggone," they decide he should be cleared medically, and they take him to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital -- where he encounters Dr. Greg House. A note to any readers with medical knowledge: If the "medical" parts of the story don't make any sense, it's because they're not supposed to make any sense. It's also at fanfiction.net: www.fanfiction.net/s/3223725/1/

I am in awe! I was snickering all through and of course the last line -- which I'm not about to give away -- was perfect. We know you've got Dunbar and all the characters from BJ down cold, but you rocked with the House folks! Aaah, to have been Cameron for that day. The was cherce, mlm88, just cherce. I'll be smiling and giggling all day.

That was so fun! I love having a new story to read over lunch. Thanks for giving us such a light-hearted one. This one is especially funny after watching House and his cop trouble's on last night's episode. You captured both shows perfectly, right down to Cameron's obsession with terminal men. Great job!

That was great and I love the last line too. I only discovered House this summer, but you did an awesome job of capturing the king of sarcasm. That was so him!

I don't watch House but I have heard enough about it that the "fun" of this story was not lost on me. I giggled too, especially at the image of Jim trying to get out of the you know where in the you know what! Of course, the irony of the whole thing is that you have addressed the manner in which both lives have changed and the manner in which they have dealt with it.....or not.
Very well done, mlm!

Very funny! I was surprised that Jim didn't make much of an issue out of being poked and prodded all...day...long. Of course, House would have chalked it up to some kind of head trauma or something and ordered even more tests! And Hank, finding his way back to the station, what a good dog! Sonny should take some pointers.

I was surprised that Jim didn't make much of an issue out of being poked and prodded all...day...long. Good catch! I agree it's somewhat out of character for Jim to put up with that. There are two reasons. The first explanation, given in the story itself, is that he's learned it's pointless to argue with docs who want to do more tests. The second is that we're in the House universe, where the main role of the unfortunate patients is to be subjected to whatever outlandish procedures House comes up with!

Thanks for a good chuckle. The essence of all the characters perfectly mesh in a wonderful parody.
