Natascha, you already know what I think of this story, but I'll say it again. I really like it. You are are a talented unending source of fan fic.
All the great fan fic writers around here helps fill the void left by the lack of a second season.

Natasha, how fun was it to wake up to that new fanfic today. It took me all day to be able to get to read it and it was so worth it. Wow, I loved it. Did not understand the title until I started to read it. Then I roared. That is great. And your characters are so true, especially loved Fisk, helping the guys make their own decisions with a little guidance from him.

Had to add my kudos to a great story. I could just imagine Christie's horror at being in a *gasp* pool hall but I loved how she was willing to help him out. Fisk was true to form, listening, I mean, really listening. Heaven help Marty when Jim gets the game down pat!
I hope I got the significance of the title--it has to do with pecking order, right?

Another great chapter, Natasha. You really have a lot of knowledge about pool. The descriptions of a grid and all, is so interesting. Is this a hobby? Anyway. can't wait to read more, and so looking forward to Jim and Marty competing. I hope Fisk is there to watch the pissed off stepsisters going head to head. Thanks for that.

R-e-s-p-e-c-t. That's what Jim should get from Marty after that. It was such a great ending to a great story. Thanks for that.

Natascha, I have to say that I love this story. I think one of the reasons is that finally, Jim finds something he doesn't have to give up. He can hang on to a little piece of his life before and still be good at it.
The ending is great and you have to think that Jim did earn some r-e-s-p-e-c-t not only from Marty, but from everyone else as well.

This was so much fun! Jimmy as a pool hustler? Works for me! ;D
Good job!

Yes, I agree it was nice that Jim could find something he could still do and apparently do well! Loved the character of Cracker, another person from Jim's "pre-blindness" life. I was tickled by how Christie sized him up--checking his fingernails and all. And Fisk walking away with the prize! Who'd have thunk it!
