Oh boy, we finish MLM's latest and Natasha has a new one. "How'd we get so lucky"? Can't wait to read it, but must print it out and take it with me. I'll be back. Thanks N.

Wow, Ashatan! That was lovely. I caught the first part of the story before I headed off to work this morning, so I spent the whole day -- well, those few parts of it when my mind wasn't frazzled with trying to keep track of dozens of pesky work-related details, anyway -- wondering how long I'd have to wait to find out what would happen when Jim and Bobby ran into each other. Can you imagine how happy I was when I got home to find that there were another three parts posted? That I didn't have to wait for days to find out? (I bet you can't!) I love the difficult relationship you painted between the two brothers. If they didn't share blood, you know they wouldn't give each other the time of day, but blood definitely counts for something here -- even if I get the feeling that Jim probably wishes that it didn't. Your take on Jim's relationship with Christie is interesting. Okay, so I have quite a few more episodes still to see, but so far I don't see any chemistry between the characters. In fact, I find them a decidedly odd couple. At the moment, what you suggest will happen to them in this story seems very plausible to me. Will I still feel that way after episode thirteen? Only time will tell... Krissie (Edited to point out that I realised after I'd posted the original message that there were actually four extra posts, not three. I just wanted to point out that I can count. Honest I can. )

;dive in Ridgewood, Queens" I'm a little offended..... It's my ignorance showing, I took the location from an interview where Ron said he had once lived in Ridgewood, Queens. What place would be better oh, Queen of Queens?

Krissie Oh no, Krissie, I hope I haven't made spoilers for you!! I am so sorry if I have. Perhaps you should wait til you've seen the show before you read our fics??? I totally forgot you were watching for the first time. How wonderful for you to be seeing this all from new eyes. Thankyou for your kind words, I appreciate every one of them and will strive to continue to give you good reading. Natascha

What place would be better oh, Queen of Queens? Well, if you want to get technical, we're not writing about Ron Eldard - the character of Jim Dunbar hailed from Red Hook, Brooklyn.

I'm not going to wait another couple of months to read good fic! To do that, I'd have to have willpower, and, clearly, I don't have any. I don't feel spoiled in the least, so you don't need to worry about that. Besides, there are plenty of other methods of spoiling and, if I were really worried about that, I'd be avoiding these boards altogether! Oh, and the last two posts of the story have left me in a state of extreme satisfaction. Beautifully concluded. Thanks again. Krissie

I haven't finished yet but another great story N. Talk about opposites but you can see how easy it would have been for Jim to have followed down the same road as Bobby.

Wow, I agree with Hoosier, another great story, but that Bobby was sure scary. Thanks Natasha for that. And thanks to MLM to. I loved the New Boss and also hated seeing that end. If we're good maybe we'll get some more from these great writers.

Oh, Natascha, You got me many delightful minutes again! It was for me like a movie as I said it earlier in connection with the Amber Alert and the Who'd have thought. I like the way Bobby snakes into the squad and the first meeting. And the last scene is very funny, make me laugh. I can well imagine... ;D
