Good things come to those who wait patiently....but not too long! That answer is bull - get on it already! ;D Oh all right. I wasn't going to post it for a while, but you guys are funny and sweet and I appreciate everyone's very nice comments. They have taken the fear and uncertainty away that I felt before I posted. This is it for the story though....no more.

Oh O! I just reread the story from go to woe. The whole thing hangs together so well, each scene flows to the next, nothing threw me out of the story and it all made sense. It was so funny watching Christie go through the huge trauma of an hour or so of darkness! The way you portray her thoughts and actions makes me feel she is so much more real for me. I like the way Kylie is so different and gets into the fun of it, yet is also very understanding. It makes me think Christie is not one to laugh at her own misfortune. I would like to sentence Christie to every meal at the O'Noir restaurant until she "gets it". (Mwahhh!) Fancy being annoyed that only a week after coming home Jimmy is still bumping into things! I really loved the restaurant scene and the bathroom scene. It was so sad that she could only talk to Jim when he was sleeping. And such a realistic extention of their relationship. I could see this happening in the early days and her talk helping Jim to break out of the inertia he must have found himself in. I certainly have enjoyed reading your fic and hope you will continue to write for us all! Cheers! "Yeah, go for it BJO, give us another one!" Jimmy

Add my name to the crowd of people offering you congratulations! Lovely fic... and now you've written one, you're going to have to write more. Right?
Right!
Oh, and that bit with Kylie, the mirror and the -- I'm not going to say in case anyone hasn't got their yet -- was quite, um, eeewwwwww. But very amusing, nonetheless!
You really made me like Christie in this story, which is quite an achievement, because I didn't really like the character on the show. I just couldn't see that much on-screen chemistry between her and Jim. And, believe me, I tried! (Had the show continued for any length of time, I have to wonder whether they would have stayed together.)

Didn't you make a typo here??? You wrote; This is it for the story though....no more. But didn't you mean This is it for this story though....no more for now. Take care and keep smiling - Chris

This was sooo good! What can I add to what has already been said? The scenes at O Noir, Christie's epiphany, Kylie? Christie's final talk with Jim reminded me of the one in Under the Gun when she told him that if he felt that he was losing things he should replace them with something new. Now that you have one under your belt, is there another lurking in the recesses of your brain?
