I had to finish this, if only for my own satisfaction. What started as a lark, to see if I could possibly write something besides poetry, turned into a very enjoyable process and took me back me to the days of my creative writing courses (a lifetime ago.) But this is it from me - BTWD is done!
I so appreciate all of the support that has been shown to this story.

"All good things must come to an end." But thanks for a lovely conclusion to a great ride!

Ah Lori, thanks so much for that. I too hate to see it end. I loved the interaction with Walter, and the nickname. Great.

Aaaah, Longlashes, I hope you're basking in the glow of accomplishment today. This has indeed been a wonderful ride, and we are all very sorry to see it come to an end . . . . . . . . end? Hey, who says it has to end! I vote for another new story with Jim and Christie as newlyweds, househunting, decorating the loft ("Christie, honey, what's up with the china chickens?"), going through all those little spats that inevitably crop up when you're learning to live in the same space with another human. Please, pretty please! Back to BTWD. A lovely job and you painted the wedding scene so vividly I could literally see it as I was reading along. Between this and the debut of "Cop Killer" it has been a terrific week for fic on this board, and I thank the writers who put in the time and the effort and the care to bring us the very best! Brava!

Yes, thank you for wrapping up a really great story. I must admit I was sad to see it end but you did a beautiful job filling in a lot of the blanks hinted at in the series.
