Oh I second the Duchess' sentiments exactly!!!!! We knew nothing of this person and you have brought her to life and so well done indeed. I'd get this out of Vignettes and mold it into an actual story if I were you. Brava!!!

I really like this one, Chris! Didn't take me too long to figure out the girl was blind and of course she wouldn't know that Jim was too so the attitude thing was funny.
Hope you don't quit having fun for a while because I only have time to read them right now. I get to do my first report cards next week!

Chris, keep them coming and karma!!! Loved how Jim and Lucy were at cross-purposes (neither knowing the other was blind) and Karen's little jab at Jim was just an added bonus. Good job!

I have been reading and enjoying all of the vignettes, even though I haven't commented on each one. I say, "keep 'em coming," too. Now, a word to the vignette writers: If you can write a vignette, you can write a longer story, which is simply a bunch of related vignettes strung together. Go for it!

Add me to the list of people who enjoyed your latest, Chris! I really liked this one and was left wanting to see more Jim and wee girl bonding! What can I say? I like to see Jim interacting with kids... How could you possible think we mightn't want more from you? Keep 'em coming! Would some karma encourage you? I hope so... Krissie

Thanks N, that was fun! And poor Karen, if all her dates have to run that gauntlet.
