It's the middle of the night here and I should be sound asleep but I HAD to read the final chapter before I went to bed. Wonderful, karma!!!! I've said it before, but even though I knew what's going to happen eventually, (Jim waking up blind) I was reading and still wanting to know what happens next??? I've never been in a situation like the one Christie and Jim is in but the way you've described it, makes it very real for me. Thank you for yet another great fanfic. Take care and keep smiling - Chris

I even got a part in mlm828's new story 'The Waiting'. Will you be doing a follow up story? And will I be in it again? To be honest I'd rather have been someone other than Christie's mother!!! Not many men like their mother-in-laws!!! And I'd so like for Jim to like me Now who wouldn't?? Hi, Adele. I'm responding to your post here, since we generally like to keep discussion of fan fiction in the "Fan Fiction" section. It's kind of the board's version of "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." I noticed the coincidence of the names, too. At this time, I can't say whether your namesake will be making another appearance. I honestly don't know whether I will write a follow-up to this story. My very first story, written about two years ago, was about the time period after Jim wakes up in the hospital. It was inspired by hoosier's story, "Perchance to Dream." (Hoosier -- I bet you never imagined your story would lead to so many others!). Anyway, I'm not sure I want to write an alternate version of this time period. But it would be interesting to see how "Adele," and others, react to learning Jim is blind. . . .

Thanks mlm for answering my question and also explaining the 'Vegas rule' I for one would definitely love to read how "Adele" and the others, Jim included reacts to learning of the blindness so If you need any encouragement just let me know and I'll encourage away By the way where did you get the name "Adele" from? It's an usual name in England and I can never find anything with my name on it so to see it in a Blind Justice story!!! It was fun

Another satisfying story, mlm and like BJO, sorry to see it end so soon. I never dreamed I would be someone's muse! I am flattered. You have certainly entertained all of us with your great prose. Karma!

By the way where did you get the name "Adele" from? I have no idea. For some reason, coming up with names that fit the characters is one of the most difficult parts of writing a story. At least it is for me.
