Oh, Mary, karma for the limerick and as good as that sounds and as much as I would love to believe it, I'm afraid it may be more like............
2929 announced that Diggers is coming soon? I don't really think they meant Sunday at noon! But there isn't much left of the year! So bereft Am I that there won't be occasion o'er our blond dude to swoon!
While it appears there won't be a sighting of him in 06 We remain hopeful that theaters will show his new flix! So to see him in 0-7 Would surely be heaven Can he imagine the anxiety that this waiting inflicts?

Oh, my! I must karma for both the answering limerick and the lashes -- thanks for that cheer me up Kathy!!
Has anybody here seen our actor friend Ron, Can you perchance tell us where he's gone? His last role was Father Flynn, We wonder now where he's been, ‘Cause he's been MIA for far too long!
I checked Yahoo alerts as soon as they came, But I found nothing there - except his good name! Certainly no mention Of what now garners his attention. I hope this absence doesn’t mean he’s had enough of fame

To acting, I hope he adheres. He has so much skill - I hope that he will Announce something soon to our cheers.

And of time to breathe he had to partake! But the bug to act willl bite And stage or screen will light With his face, once those desires awake!

After 6 months in a role he just needed a break... And of time to breathe he had to partake! But the acting bug shall bite And stage or screen will light With his face again - once those desires awake! I hope you are right. But, Lori... People are asking me all of the time Why my sentences always must rhyme, and syllables I count while their concerns mount But to me this is truly sublime. Now I have to leave for awhile Though this "game" has caused me to smile. And while I am gone You can think of Ron A pastime that is truly worthwhile.

No, the blonde dude can't possibly know The great lengths to which we would go To again see his face All over the place Or at least in that long awaited show. Kathy, your photo skills are over the top To capture this hot pic of our favorite cop. So karma for you, gal For being my pen pal And meeting in the city for fun that won't stop.If the play had continued, I really must say We'd probably get arrested for stalking one day And end up in a cell Yes, real "Pen Pals" oh well Maybe best that the curtain came down on his play.

OOPS! I was wondering if we had hijacked the thread too - but it all started because, just like Ron, Diggers seems to have disappeared. It was shown at the Toronto Film Festival to some critical acclaim, it appeared to be relatively well-received but apparently left Toronto without any major sponsorships. Does that mean that it won't make it into theatres in 2006? All signs are certainly pointing that way. And, it would appear that since Ron Eldard has also disappeared from the radar screen - quite handily I might add - that Diggers would have been the one and only chance to see him in something before this marvelous year comes to a close (other than, of course, the wonderful movie still, as posted by Anna.) I wish someone would update the Diggers thread on the Internet with some good news soon. And I wish one of those Yahoo alerts that comes every so often - and does not dredge up anything other than past history - would bring us some news of a RE project forthcoming! Now back to Diggers and for those of us who seemed to have the need to talk in rhyme in this thread today apologies - we will save our scheming for the Limerick thread!

I didn't mean stop rhyming -- ever! -- I just hoped you would copy some of them into the Limerick thread for those who might have missed them. Where is Ron, anyway? This is damned odd for someone who basically hasn't stopped working in twenty years, and doesn't chose parts simply for the money. Yahoo alert, Google alert -- we're getting nothing. Shane, come back, Shane . . .

Let me preface this by saying I hope everyone can take a joke, and it's just a joke. Eric Stoltz is the same way, so maybe I can be allowed. It popped into my head as soon as I read it, and I'm just having fun!
