I got a message today that my Diggers dvd is in the mail and that I will have it within 3 to 6 days. That means that if I am really lucky I might have it on Saturday or Monday, even before it is officially released ;D Chris - Sorry, I had to brag a little Chris Where did you order from? I ordered from amazon and they say they can't ship until May 14.

Wow, Chris, you are so lucky! It's not supposed to be released here until May 1 and mine is also coming from Amazon. I didn't get an email like N, but then again, some very sweet person is sending it to me for my birthday. I hope that's not true for me too though. It will be a long wait.

I'll be there tomorrow night; I'll let you know about it, if you want, unless you care to wait. I, for one, am interested on your take. I have read many, many reviews and the majority of them are favorable. Not much has been written specifically about Ron's portrayal of Jack. Therefore, I am very interested in what you will have to say. Have a great time! I know three people (I being one of them) who are going to be thinking of you and wishing they were there, too!!!

I checked Amazon last night and mine is still saying estimated delivey between May 4 and May 7. It has not shipped yet, and I doubt that it will before the release date of May 1

I think I would like to wait and see it for myself before I hear your reviews of it. I'll just stay out of this thread until I have seen it..... If I can... Have fun - Chris

Chris Where did you order from? I ordered from amazon and they say they can't ship until May 14. I ordered from a place called Movie World, an American company owned by a Danish place called "Laserdisken" They have an American based shop because of some stupid import-rules that says that Danish shops can't sell certain movies (no, no, I'm not talking about adult movies, I wouldn't know about those ) - like for instance, the American edition of Mystery Alaska can't be bought in Denmark legally but it's legal for me to buy it in the US and have it shipped here. Apparently they get the movies a week or two prior to the release date and as soon as they get them, they ship the orders for those who have placed pre-orders. They ship all over the world, the only problem is that their web-site is in Danish. If any of you at some point would like to order from it, I will be happy to help out. They accept both Visa and MasterCard. If you order a movie, they will usually ship it the next day and you will have it as fast as your mail service allows I payed 36.44$ shipment and taxes included, for Diggers. I don't know if that's expensive, I remeber you saying that you ordered from amazon for 22.49$?? Was that including taxes and shipment?? - Chris

Hello! The only thing that I am going to say about this film is that you will all be more than pleased. It is a superbly wonderful film and all the actors (yes, please, let us remember that there is more than one actor in this film! ) are fabulously cast. For the hell of it, I certainly want to thank the owners of the Silly Lily for showing me around their boat/tackle/bait store out in the Hamptons/Montauk area, they were so lovely and hospitable - seeing it on the big screen and knowing I was there was a hoot and a half! (We have a summer home right over there, as well!) Ron certainly is in the film MUCH MUCH more than he was in Freedomland and only one thing I will share: pay close attention to the beginning credits. The music supervisor (something like that) is Jim Dunbar - I'm not lying.

I can hardly wait to see it!

Thanks Anita, I'm humbled! Oh, Ash, FYI, Ron's character plays pool.
