Hello, all. ;D Thanks to shmeep (my new online and Real Life friend) for the link to this new board. I think I've run into some of you on other boards - I'm not a huge messageboard person and won't be here, either, I fear. But I am around the B/J fandom. For everyone else, Kenina's videos and fanfic are great so I suggest you check out the links. Very cathartic for those of us who still struggle to accept the cancellation and are in need of a good dose of Dunbar.

Kenina, your videos are just lovely -- the music is so evocative and fits the emotions of the series so well. And I'm definitely looking forward to the next chapter of "Weekend in the Country" -- wondering what Jim's father-in-law was going to say when they were interrupted. . . .
Minianne, you already know how much I have enjoyed your writings. I just wanted to add that recent chapters of "A Long Way Up" have really captured Jim's single-minded determination to return to the job.

Kenina, when can we see the new chapter of "Weekend..." I'm addicted to it now! Heh, heh. Um, well, I'm having to re-write Chapter 3 right now, actually. Shmeep pointed out (wonder if anyone else noticed??) that I wrote Ch 3 in the 3rd person when Chs 1 and 2 are in the 1st person. DUH!!!! There was just such a break for me between Ch2 and Ch3 that I completely forgot and just reverted to the 3rd person. Anyway, it looks so odd that I have to change it. So it'll take me a while to get Ch 4 up, since I haven't even started it yet. Sorry! But the Ch 3 rewrite is going to be *slightly* different, so maybe that will keep you for a while. |

Yup! I know what you mean. I started writing my story too, and someone kindly pointed out that I had to keep in mind ALWAYS what POV I was using and to get into that person's head.
So I started over and rewrote everything that I had written up to that point.

Kenina and Minianne.... What would we do without you two? The fanfics are great!!! I was totally addicted to the show, and now I'm totally addicted to the stories you both are providing. They're very well done... I can totally see Jim and Christie, Karen...everyone in them. So cool! Please keep writing!!! We need more Jimmy Dunbar in our lives and you two are giving it to us. Don't ever stop!
