I saw this through a yahoo group. I don't care for Bjork but it was interesting to see another video. I liked the scene selections and the ending was really good with the banner 'Blind Justice' scrawling across the bedroom scene from UOTR when Christie askes Jim if it was the same dream. If you have the chance to see it, check it out.

If you have the chance to see it, check it out. the video itself was good,, i just can't stand bjork,,, everytime i hear her name,, or see her,, i think of her in that outfit with the swan wrapped around her neck,, ellen degeneres did a good imitation of her in that outfit  |

I'm with dogma and hoosier. I liked the video, but not the music. I've never heard of the singer, but I had to mute the sound about half way through. It was driving me crazy.
Our resident video maker spoils us with her ability to find such beautiful music ;D

Our resident video maker spoils us with her ability to find such beautiful music ;D I agree - I found that music just toooo distracting, though I did enjoy watching it without the music. We are lucky to have two video-ists who find the greatest songs for their work. |

I know I'm in the minority here, but I really like Bjork! I don't own any of her music, but I've always had a fondness for her sound. I can't say that her swan dress at the Oscars really did it for me, but I think she's really talented.
The song "Seen it All" is from a very bizarre movie I happened to catch on cable once called "Dancer in the Dark." Bjork stars as a poor factory worker who is losing her sight and trying desperately to save enough money for her son, who has the same condition, to have an operation that could save his sight. Much of the movie consists of fantasy sequences that make her life seem like a musical and "Seen it All" is about her feeling about losing her sight so that's probably why the person who made the video used that particular song here. She probably thought the words were appropriate, although when I think of Blind Justice, I don't tend to think of Bjork.
For the record, I really hated "Dancer in the Dark," not because of the music (which was creative and strangely effective throughout), but because of where the story went. It took a horrifying turn and ended up being extremely disturbing so I wouldn't watch it again.

This video is very well done (although one thing that bothers me as a fledgling video maker is that the lyrics don't match the clips) but I hate the music! I am so set in my musical ways that I don't think I would ever be able to grasp a liking for this sound. I admit I tried to listen to it all the way through but I also had to mute it second time round.
On another note, imagine my surprise when I went to YouTube.com to check this out and found my Hands video, posted in December 2005 by someone else!!

I must go look and see. I too was not at all crazy about the choice of music, and so much prefer yours and Tracy's videos. I try to end each day with a look at one of them. Last night's was Across the Universe. Hope we see another soon, no pressure though. There must be an episode you haven't spotlighted yet with a video. |
