I've just done two Blind Justice music videos but unfortunately I can't put them on youtube because it says they're too big not being a technical wizard I've no idea how to shrink them So if anyone can offer any help I'd appreciate it Or alternatively does any one know of another way that people can view them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try putting them on YouSendIt.com - it provides a temporary link to the videos. If you need to, create your account, upload and have the video link sent to your own email account. From there, you can copy the link and post it here.

If you used MovieMaker to create your videos, you can reduce the files to any smaller size you like - although if you make them too small, there's loss of video and audio quality. What program did you use?

I can't do it right now, but I'll give you the "how to" later on, k? Actually, who am I kidding, I can do this right now. OK Go to "save to my computer", choose your location and file name, then hit next. On this screen, select "show more choices" to bring up the full list - should be three items. Select "best fit to size" and adjust the figures to the size of file you want - usually 12-15 MB works well - smaller file without compromising video/audio quality too much, but it really is up to you. Then simply save your file.

Thanks for the help, I tried what you said and my version is slightly different the option is to publish to computer then you choose location and file name, then hit next. Then you've got three options best quality for playback, compress to with options of size or more settings i've been using the more settings and using the DV-AVI(PAL) format option because when i tried to use either of the other two i just ended up with a very squahed picture and a big green line at the bottom of the screen!!! So unfortunately i'm still stuck with my big file i did say i was technically challenged But thanks for the help much appreciated and i've given some karma for it

There has to be a way to do this.
Let me ponder it...
Oh, what version of MM?

Exactly how big are the files?
Megaupload is another way of distributing large files.
The green line thing sounds like a codec problem.

We're still exchange PMs trying to sort out the issue - which seems to be particular to Vista. I'm sure one of us will let you know what works.
