I have a rant! I will be 40 next week. I just bought concealer for the first time to cover some of the aging under my eyes (not too much, I'm holding together pretty well if I do say so myself). So here I am putting on concealer and what do I see when I look in the mirror? A zit!!! A zit? I am 40 years old for goodness sake, zits and wrinkles?!! It just isn't fair.

I look at zits as a sign of youth and the fact that you still have lots of yummy little hormones. You must learn to embrace your zits . . . . You are sooo funny, MOuse!

If it is any consolation, I'm 36 and just started taking Accutane for my severe teenage-like acne problem.
And you just bought concealer for the first time? Wow! I wish I could do that... I have been using the stuff ever since I started wearing makeup and foundation since I was around 20.

Hate to shoot your hormone theory out of the water, but I'm WELL over 40, been postmenopausal for a long time, and still get zits. No embracing here.
