It's after midnight, it's Christmas Eve, and I want to wish blessings and joy to all of you, my Blind Justice family.
And we are a family, with all the craziness and closeness and laughs of any real family.
It's been quite a journey, hasn't it? It started on March 8th, went through the ImDb board and Yahoo, on to Blind Justifications, and now we are all here, in our "home away from home" created by Housemouse and Shmeep (billing alphabetical) and loving it!
We've laughed, we've cried (on May 17th), and we have triumphed. Here we are, months after the show that brought us together left the airwaves, still arguing and discussing and wondering. Still passionate. Still committed. We wrote the letters to Steven Bochco and ABC, we signed the petitions, and when the ax fell? We were there for each other -- mournful and angry, but determined to continue.
My New Year's resolution? Keep talking. Keep discussing. In the new year I'll start a new thread where we can collect (I hope) actual and verified information about bringing Blind Justice out on DVD. We will find out who to contact, and pester that person into submission! We are small but mighty.
So to Mouse and Shmeep, to doobrah and bjobsessed and kyt and mlm88, to Carl and inuvik and dogma and Eyephur (what does that mean?!), to Mary the serial killer and Kathy, and to sapphiresister in Oz, our newest member, to all of you dear people (and please forgive me for leaving anyone out but it is late), I will say Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
So let's lift a glass of well-spiked eggnog -- that nasty wheatgrass juice gives me a stomach ache --
