To the creators and inhabitants of the 8th Precinct: Merry Christmas -- and thanks for the memories.

To the members of this board:

May you rejoice in the holiday instead of stressing out;
If you are traveling, may you arrive safely at your destination and back home again;
May Santa bring you lots of DVDs featuring our favorite "blond dude" and, if you've been very good, maybe even tickets to Doubt!

I bought my own tickets since I know Santa would never spring for them. I do know that he is giving me spending money.

Merry Christmas. Have a safe and wonderful time with your family and friends. I know I treasure the friendships I've made over the last four or five months and I'm looking forward to meeting a few of you in March.

Merry Christmas to our family at the 8th too. Without you, we wouldn't have met each other. So thank you Steven Bochco, Ron Eldard , and the rest of the gang for bringing us together.

How many shows create a community like ours in 13 weeks? We are not perfect, but we seem to be able to work things out like any good family should. Maybe this happens more often than I know, but this is a first for me.

May the spirit of the show live on for a very long time.

I'm about to be invaded by family for the Holiday, so want to take this quiet moment to tell you all how much fun I have had since I joined this board. It has been a great journey with you all. I am looking forward to the excitement of 2006 - Doubt, Freedomland, and Diggers - and the ensuing discussions. I have made some wonderful friends through this board and want to wish you all a very Happy and safe Christmas!

anyone remember the poem i wrote on the "other board "about the end of blind justice? it was pretty good,, wish i could recall it,,

The Board no longer exists, I clicked on the URL before about a month ago and it has been removed from Proboards.

One thing I remember from the last board--was it someone here who posted the season 2 ideas? I remember they were so hilarious! The ones I am thinking of included a visit from Christie's mother, and Jim mixing up his Christmas gifts for Karen and Christie, etc. If someone here wrote them and still has them, could you post them here?

Lastly, I thought I'd post a Christmas funny I just received in my e-mail. Please take it as an apology for all the fuss I've been causing this week. I do apologize, and so close to Christmas too! Please forgive me.

Holiday Job Posting


Pay Rate: $20.00/Hr plus shift differential

Filing deadline: 12/23/95

Selected candidate must be available for international travel,
holiday and night work be physically able to lift heavy packages
over shoulder and possess a sleigh to perform work assignment.

Duties:
Make list and check it twice. Identify and deliver packages to
proper recipients by way of reindeer-powered airborne sleigh.
Supervise 100 unruly elves in the production of requested items.
Disperse and maintain holiday spirit when faces with turbulent
weather and physical demands of riding reindeer sleigh over 10,000
miles to accomodate 4 billion people in 16 hours.

Requirements:
Skill to determine who's naughty and nice, sleeping and waking
bad or good, for goodness sake! Skill to establish cooperative
working relationships with elves and gnomes knowledge of proper
diet and training required for flying reindeer ability to consume
approximatly 1 billion cups of lukewarm coca/milk and similar
amounts of stale, leftover cookies. Skill in deciphering
correspondence written in crayon. Ability to quickly maneuver down
chimneys or other available means while "ho, ho, hoing" and
simultaneously shaking belly.

Desirable:
Heavy, white facial growth and rosy red cheeks.

That's great invuik! Speaking for myself, all is forgiven. Like I said earlier, we are not a perfect family, but I think we are forgiving. Everyone has a bad day now and then. Don't sweat it. Have a great Christmas.

Hello all!

Sorry I've been silent this week. I haven't been able to even look at most of the board for several days. Even now I only have access through my little Sidekick and it takes forever to load anything. We're at an airport in Phoenix and are about to fly into Burbank, where my parents will be waiting to pick us up. Fun trip so far! It's great to get to be with family this time of year, although it was nice being away from family this time last year.

I'm thinking of you all and wish you a Merry and safe Christmas!

I remember them, too -- they were hilarious. The only one I specifically remember involved Jim getting audited by the IRS, because he claimed the exemption for blindness and listed his occupation as homicide detective. ;D

Since we're veering away from the topic of Christmas greetings, I've started a new thread entitled "Blind Justice, Season Two -- The Sitcom" where those who wrote or remember those very funny season two ideas -- or have new ideas -- can post them.
