 ok,, i've kept my comments and commas to myself for several hrs,, quite a good record for me,, i am not in a good mood,, christmas is not a pleasant season for me,, hence the negative votes lately on the character game,, last year,, the only christmas decoration i had was the hallmark snowman and dog that barked a song i am being totally truthful at this moment, ,and i will tell you how i originally felt about finding out pennylane was a fraud,, but first, let me explain the picture i've submitted,, the red one is indeed called a troll,, but the little one on the left, to be politically correct,, is called a "dam" doll,, it even has dam engraved across it's back,,, it is 43 years old,, an original to say the least now,, my first reaction to be one of the recipients of your little prank was to quote jill burgless "shame on you ",, i felt secure in this board,, not to be taken advantage of,, i thought you were insecure,,and in feeling so,, set us up to ensure you that this was indeed a fabulous board,, but to find out it was all a hoax,,i felt i was set up,, and taken advantage of,, harsh,, but true,, now that i've had several hours to absorb all of this,, i am glad you didn't carry on the prank any longer,, and lulling me into a sense of falseness of pennylane's identity,, it is no one's fault but my own to be so gullible,, and trusting,, so now, i am absolutely over it,, and will carry on,, ,commas and all,, so get used to it,, my computer is being taken out for service,, so i will not be cking any emails after 9am tomorrow morning i am well aware,, with my blunt truthfulness, that i expect to be smited,, i'll get over it,, just like i got over this prank i am also secure in my feelings of this board,, that this will not be deleted,, but kept on the board,, again, proving this is nothing like the board we all were either banished or censored from |

Karma to you, dogma! Smite you? No way! I am very glad you have decided to remain a part of the group. I am sure I'm not the only one who would have missed you. And please don't blame yourself for being taken in -- you're not the only one, I assure you.

I missed out on this whole debacle, but I am glad that you guys decided to come clean about playing this prank. Personally, I think you should have saved it for April Fool's Day, then it would have been a little less abrasive to some. Trolls are not funny, unless they have fuzzy hair like the ones Dogma has.

Dogma, Thank you for being honest. The feelings you expressed about the prank are exactly what my wise friend who set us straight warned us about and are the reason we realized we had to stop. See, that whole perspective hadn't even entered our heads while we were doing it. It seemed like harmless fun and was sure to keep discussion hopping. We never intended to allow anyone to become friends with pennylane (supposing anyone even wanted to  ), so we didn't see the harm. When the potential for hurt was brought to our attention, we realized we had screwed up. I would never smite you for being honest and I have no urge to delete your post (the trolls were such a nice touch). I'm truly glad you're back to feeling comfortable posting again. Thank you for letting us know! |

Dogma, I am very sorry for making you feel uncomforable. As Shmeep said, as soon as the trust issue was raised we knew it was a bad idea and set about finding a way to make it right. We are very sorry for any hurt feelings and we really appreciate you coming clean with us.
Now one would ever smite you for honesty!

Glad to hear it was all a hoax. ;D I thought Halloween was over! Better than soaping the windows or throwing corn cobs!!!
