Merry Christmas.
Twas the week before Christmas
And all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
Not even Housemouse.
The folks on the board
Were all snug in their beds
While visions of mini corncobs
Danced in their heads.
They dreamed who they'd smite
And who'd they'd cap next
What perp would go down
When they're put to the test.
The stockings were hung
On the chimney with fringes
To be filled with sunglasses
Without any hinges.
When over on the board
There arose such a clatter
It was Shmeep in her nightcap
yelling "What is the Matter?"
"You math challenged people
Are driving me nuts.
One and one is just two
No, ifs , ands, or buts."
"You just change the scores
On the previous post.
Its not rocket science
These totals are toast!"
The fun of the game
Is to see who is on top.
But when all is said and done
It'll be our favorite cop.
Some perps have been killed
When they're squished on the road
Some fall down elevators
And others explode.
The posters are many.
Their reasons are great.
While Anita we know
Will always post late.
There's E in her dorm room
And dogma so clever
Why inuvik posts at a library
The most effort ever.
There's Carl in the wings
Waiting to take out old Marty.
And Dogma whips up cookies
For our B/J Christmas Party.
GB kills them off
While she fires off fanfic.
And ML and Kyt
All have reasons fantastic.
There's Lori so kind,
And Hoosier so merry
There's Maggie, and doobrah
And a Tuxhorn named Jerry.
And Kathy even tried
To frame an old friend
and Lori and her
Killed quite a few in the end.
It's fun to see how
All the perps get dismissed
Some that are left now
We would rather see kissed.
But rules are the rules
And all but one must go
so we struggle to be kind
As we "off" them, you know.
Now the game may be ending
So Shmeep help us quick
We need something else
To give us a kick.
We gave Santa our list
But, alas, it can't be
We wanted more seasons
Of B/J you see.
But the gifts they keep coming
In the friendships we've made
When all's said and done
None of that would we trade.
So thank you "blond dude"
And the rest of the crew.
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year too.
