i know i absolutely would've been chastized for saying this on "that other forum" but i know i can say it here: THE STEELERS ARE PLAYING ON MONDAY NITE FOOTBALL TONITE !!! kathy, you can root for them,, they aren't playing the pats, ,and eyph,, you're close to pgh, so you can root for them , too

Are you ready for some football?! Yeah Dogma me too. The best thing about Fall is football. Well it would have been the new season of Blind Justice followed by football, but I guess I will just have to settle for football to mend the hurt. I am a Patriots fan but will be rooting for Pittsburgh tonight. Oh boy, I just looooooooove football.

Dogma - you can bet that I'll be cheering for the Steelers tonight against those Eagles! But I'm with Mary when it comes to the Patriots. (Mary - I leave for RI at 4 tomorrow morning!)

Although I live sorta close to Pittsburgh, I don't paticularly like football- that doesn't involve Marching Band- I will root for the Steelers to irritate my dad who is a Browns fan.

just figured i'd put this under announcements,,
sat nite, on Fox tv at 10 pm est, there is a geraldo special, ,not that i'm the biggest geraldo fan, but this topic hits very close to home

it is a special on an incident that happened here where i live ( erie.PA ) two yrs ago,, maybe some of you remember hearing it on the national news,, a mildly retarded pizza delivery man was forced to rob a bank , and the bad men put a bomb on his neck,, and it blew up, and has never been solved,,

it's referred to as the pizza collar bomber,, my girlfriend's husband is a city cop and was at the scene, and her brother was at the scene, stuck at a redlight ( this town is toooo small )

and the pizza place where he worked - mama mia's pizzaria - makes the best calzone in the city,,

strange story,, it's been on unsolved mysteries and everything

another announcement,,

this is truly numbing me out,, i think it was on the chat on the 16th,, when we were concerned out that new worm,, and i was watching the news,, and waiting for them to tell about it,, and there was a brief segment about a woman and a dog hit by a hit and run driver,, does this sound familiar?

well,, talk about a small world,, i had that very dog here at my kennel for two weeks in feb,, he was a blind pit bull,,and was on layover before getting transported to the rescue in chicago,, i just found out last nite it was brick,,

i know you all laugh about me singing to the critters,, i'll be the first to admit i sound more like janis joplin than carly simon,, but i would sing softly to him while we were walking,, he found it comforting,,and could follow my voice
