Happy New Year to all my friends on the board. 2005 was a great year! It introduced us all to the "blond dude" and the rest of the crew at the 8Th Precinct and to each other. And that has been a lot of fun. And I know we will continue to have fun in 2006. I also want to say that I am not only a serial killer but a Polar Bear too, which means I swim in the Atlantic Ocean on New Year's day at noon, unless the wind chill hovers down near zero. (Can't help it, I was born into a long line of Polar Bears). I am announcing it in hopes that since I said it, I won't chicken out this year which I have done some years. So I will report back tomorrow as to whether I did it or not. Weather forecasts say a few inches of snow overnight. Happy New Year All.
(Oh check out Shades, a new hot picture of Ron, also at the Knicks game.) Um Happy New year!

Happy New Year to everyone and may it bring health and happiness! I have had a lot of fun on this board and hope to have much much more.
And good luck on your dip in the ocean. I have seen it on TV--I don't even swim and would seriously doubt I would ever do that!!!! I don't mind the cold. Last Monday it was 4 degrees--nippy but I have seen worse. Right now its around 30 with probably 20+ wind chill. Last night it rained to who done it and washed the last of the snow away!

Happy New Year Everybody! Hey, who is the blonde girl sitting with Ron and David in the new photo on the Shades board? Inquiring minds want to know... xoxo M. Claire Danes, but I learned that from Kathy. Also I did notice in the other photo that she is sitting to the left of David Duchovney, (little bit of her shirt showing) so more than likely is not with Ron. The picture is also already on Ron-Eldard.com

Claire Danes was there with her boyfriend Billy Crudup - who appeared with RE in "Sleepers." (It frightens me that I know this stuff.)

Happy New Year! May the coming year be a good one for each of you and yours and may we have lots more to talk about and more opportunities to use the phrase "Hey Blonde Dude".

Just wanted to say I am back from the Polar Bear Plunge and I did it. At the moment when I could have kept my coat on and chickened out, I thought of the fact that I had posted it on the board, so I said, I'm going for it. It was 28 with wind chill of 21 and snow on the beach but a few hundred of us dove into the surf. My daughter did her first plunge and moments before noon, I said to her "this isn't easy" and then told her it was kind of a "heat of the moment" when everyone starts to run , you just get caught up in it. Of course, she didn't know I was quoting B/J but I did. So this is number 5 for me and I always feel a great way to start the New Year. See what happened last year when I did it? We got B/J and the crew from the eighth, and I found all of you! . Happy New Year again to all.

My oh my, I am impressed. On a selfish note, now I can say that I actually know one of those wacky polar bears!

Speaking of the new year. It is raining cats and dogs here in Southern California today, and it looks like the Rose Parade will be water logged for the first time since the 1950's!
