Jim may have good ears.......But I apparently don't, since the first 4 or 5 times I watched the Pilot, I thought that guy in the holding cell was saying "Hey, blond dude". Also I thought the Chief of "d's" was Chief Adiz and even think I posted that on a board once. How embarrassing.

Hey, when my brother and I were little, we thought the line in the Casper the Friendly Ghost theme song "Grown ups don't understand" was "Roll up your underpants." And we would just shriek! Besides, Jim does qualify as both "blind dude" and "blond dude," right? Thanks for the laugh!

I don't have "good ears," either. Near the end of "Seoul Man," Tom and Marty flip a coin to see who will take Dorsey to Central Booking. After Marty calls "heads," Tom looks at the coin and says . . . something. What did he say??

he does say "suck on that",, i had it on closed captioned,, Yep! The wonders of closed captioning, although they are occasionally wrong. The captions even say that he speaks that line in a falsetto and then, when he speaks again, are kind enough to inform the Deaf viewing public that he has resumed speaking in his normal voice.

Thanks, mouse, dogma, and shmeep! I have to admit, "suck on that" is not an expression I use in everyday conversation. . . .

And I quote:
"Suck on that." Confirmation of one-upmanship or completion of a difficult task. Example: Suck on that, motherfucker!
Ah, where would the middle-aged WASP, such as myself, be without the Urban Dictionary?
