I had every intention of watching the show last night and then I totally forgot about it until 9:58. So I missed it. But it's good to miss an episode every now and then, keeps me from becoming obsessed. I don't think I'm quite ready for a new TV show obsession yet.

By the way,did you catch who played the drug lord--Luis from Doggone! I thought that was him. I was unsure at first because I don't remember the tattos being all the way around his neck. And it would be realistic to lose a case once in a while. Another show that is along the same lines is Cold Case. I watch it occasionally. It is about cops who solve unsolved cases from years ago. Anytime I've watched it, they always solve the case. The show is on it's third season I think, so we'll see. Hey E. I'm definitely not obsessed. I'm only enjoying it. I don't think I could ever get taken in by another show like I did BJ.

This show is very close to losing me. The courtroom scenes in last night's episode were mostly really bad. There's no way Conti would have been allowed to give an opinion that the confession was false. And even a lawyer with only half a brain (of whom there are many) knows pissing off the judge is a bad strategy, but Swayne apparently doesn't know this. And why was he still in his suit and tie in jail, when everyone else is in orange jail jumpsuits? On the plus side, they did show the judge ruling against them a couple of times, which made it a little more realistic.
One distraction for me was that the case was pretty closely based on an actual case here in San Diego, and I kept thinking, "that's like the Crowe case" or "that's not like the Crowe case."

At first I thought his shenanigans were a deliberate ploy to be held in contempt and therefore thrown in jail -- a plot device I've seen before -- but such was not the case, alas. As a longtime Law & Order junkie, I certainly can't imagine Jack McCoy ever acting in such a fashion! Not quite ready to bail just yet -- I do like the fellow playing the lead investigator -- but I am coming close.

I missed it this week so I can't even comment.

Eh, I'll keep watching--at least for now. I finally saw Friday's episode and it was pretty entertaining. I have no idea how realistic it is, since that's not my area of expertise, but the cast is really quite good and I'm enjoying the interaction among them. It really is nice to see Marisol Nichols in a show again--and Constance Zimmer from my other heartbreak last hear, Joan of Arcadia. And say what you will about Kyle MacLachlan, but Agent Dale Cooper will always have a special place in my heart.

I really like Injustice. I had four of them on my tivo and I have caught up on them over the past couple of days. I think Kyle McLachlan is slightly over the top, but I still like it. I REALLY like Jason O'Mara as Charles Conti. What a hotty!

I was watching it last Friday and fell asleep part way through Can anyone tell me the significance of the mark on the mother's face? I have my own opinion but wonder if I'm right.

I REALLY like Jason O'Mara as Charles Conti. What a hotty! I, too, am liking this show more and more -- especially when they stick to the investigations and stay away from the courtroom, which (as mlm88 so wisely pointed out) they don't do very well. As for Jason O'Mara? Yum. My mother also identified him as being a cross between the two brothers on Prison Break. Think about it -- he could be the third brother. In fact, that's what we call the show in my house: "Oh, the third brother's on." Heh.

I liked the last two episodes much better than the one before (with the bad courtroom scenes ). I thought the episode before last was more realistic than others in its portrayal of the unjustly imprisoned defendant. He was a minority kid from a bad neighborhood, not a white middle-class type. And he could be, well, difficult, and didn't exactly win you over to begin with. I also liked the way the ending implied he might not live happily ever after, after being released from prison, because he was going back to the same "mean streets" without much if any support. As for the overzealous prosecutor in the last episode, the following article gives a different perspective, from a former prosecutor: www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/special_packages/stolenjustice/13802958.htm

I'm still liking it. I don't know enough to be too troubled by whatever inaccuracies there may be, but I'm liking this cast. The relationships between them are interesting and fun to watch as the stories unfold.

Last Friday's show was especially good--a man awaiting execution who was innocent of the crime and who was brought to their attention by a nun who opposed the death penalty. It was written by Michael Oates Palmer who wrote Marlon's Brando for BJ. The twist at the end, they were unable to save him. An exellent episode.

I am still really liking In Justice. Kyle MacLachlan is just too cool for school and I love the introduction of the creepy guy from the DA's office. I am also curious to see if Brianna's new relationship will be continued. Oh, and that other guy, John is his name I think, is he getting fed up and wanting to leave? Will Swain be disbarred? Hmmm, this show is worth tuning in to.

Hmmm, this show is worth tuning in to. I agree. I'm loving it too. I hate to say it, but I'm not sure how much longer it will be on. Next week it is being replaced with Primtime or 20/20 or some newsmagazine show like that so I don't know if it's looking good. That's a shame. It hasn't been doing all that well in the ratings, but I was hoping it could fly in under the radar. Perhaps not.
