I happened to catch a commerical for this new show premiering in January. Is this the one Marisol Nicholas is supposed to be on???

I think so. She's listed as being in the cast, but isn't in the picture on "that network's" web site. It's supposed to be about a group of lawyers who work to exonerate the wrongfully convicted, probably something like the Innocence Project. Sure to be highly realistic (she said sarcastically).
Assuming she's playing an attorney, Marisol will be the second Blind Justice "alumnus" to play an appellate defense lawyer.

I saw her in a comercial recently. Her hair was much darker so I didn't instantly recognize her.

The assumption being that you were watching ABC! For shame. Call me crazy or call me loyal -- I'm still boycotting them. Actually, since I don't much care for Lost or Desperate Housewives -- and I refuse to watch reality programming with the exception of Martha: The Apprentice (which periodically involves cooking, and how I long for an episode in which she makes all those idiotic Yuppies bake a pie), it ain't all that much of a hardship. Truth be told, Blind Justice was the only ABC show I'd watched religiously in years. ;D

I have a slightly different philosophy -- to each her own. I am still very unhappy with "that network," but I do enjoy a few -- a very few -- of its programs. Since depriving myself of that small pleasure is not going to bring about the return of Blind Justice, I still watch them. On the other hand, I have not forgiven my local affiliate for showing idiotic local programming instead of "Fancy Footwork" and absolutely refuse to watch their local news broadcasts or any other local programming. Truth be told, Blind Justice was the only ABC show I'd watched religiously in years. ;D Me, too. I'll probably check out In Justice, simply because Marisol Nichols is in it, but I pessimistically expect it to be as un-watchable as all the other lawyer shows on TV.

Partly because of BJ and partly because there is nothing on it that I want to watch. The only other ABC show I watch is Extreme Makeover Home Edition. True to my word in the letters I wrote to them after they cancelled BJ, I watch it on my Canadian channel and not ABC. I too will watch Injustice only for Marisol Nichols. If I don't like it.....Oh well.

Oh, I can't boycott ABC! I've watched Alias for years (it's not that great anymore, but still a fun hour), I think Lost is one if the best and most original shows I've seen in years, Invasion has gripped me, Desperate Housewives is a guilty pleasure, and I'm really coming to love Grey's Anatomy (wonderful ensemble cast). (Okay, it's true that I hold Grey's Anatomy personally responsible for BJ being canceled--had it not become a hit and stolen Boston Legal's time slot, BL wouldn't have stolen BJ's timeslot and there still would have been hope. But...I still think it's a good show. Much better than it was last year.) I'm also a sucker for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I usually get weepy at least once while watching it. When I first started seeing commercials for Blind Justice a year ago, I remember thinking that that was a pretty gutsy thing for a network to show. I assumed it wouldn't last more than an episode or two, but I was impressed with ABC for putting it on at all because, as we know, it's not the type of thing typically embraced by the public at large. As disappointed as I was/am by the cancellation, I'm still proud of ABC for showing it at all and for giving us all the episodes. Well...sort of. It was fun while it lasted. I'm sure In Justice won't come close to comparing, but I'll check it out for Marisol Nichols.

I happened to have on Good Morning America before taking the dog for her walk and just caught it I am still very unhappy about the BJ cancellation but like Shmeep am a fan of Alias and also of Lost. I do boycott it on Tuesday--can't stand Commander in Chief. To salve my heart over the loss of BJ, I treat myself to an episode of BJ on Tuesdays! By the way, in the new TV Guide, they have a little ditty on John Stamos and talked about the inevitabile cancellation of Jake in Progress and how he should have waited for ER! I also boo and hiss JIP and blame it for BJ , that and Gray's Anatomy

Karma to you, shmeep, for your "glass half full" approach. I, too, am grateful that we got to see all of the episodes. But it's sometimes difficult to think of the glass as half full instead of half empty, when we think of what might have been.

I have started watching General Hospital again (on tape, of course) since Rick Springfield came back last week. And they've been showing the "Injustice" promo with about 2 whole seconds of Marisol Nichols talking behind a screen to an inmate. It's kinda funny that she's getting all the justice shows - Blind Justice and now Injustice.

Don't forget Injustice has a sneak preview Sunday night. I plan on seeing it just to see Marisol's character. If it is half-way decent I'll try to catch it on its regular night!

According to an article in my local paper, the episode being shown Sunday night is not the pilot. The pilot is being shown on Friday, in the regular time slot. It seems strange that they wouldn't show the first episode first, but nothing "that network" does surprises me any more.

Interesting that Injustice will be opposite the 2-hour pilot of Book of Daniel on Friday.
I'm looking forward to Aidan Quinn, but I've never warmed to Kyle MacLachlan.

Yeah . . . not even for an occasional glimpse of Marisol Nichols. The Aiden Quinn thing looks different, certainly more intriguing than yet another lawyer show.
