Nick -- for not being honest with Karen. His heart was not in the right place. Karen ++ for having that "Helen Kellar" moment with Jim. Very smart way to help him understand the cuts on the face. Jim ++ for talking to Nick. This could go either way and I know it was really none of his business and he should have told Karen first, but his heart was in the right place.

Me thinks the numbers are all wrong in Hoosier's post! If you take GreenBeing's last post and subtract/add the smites/exhalts from that, the numbers should be:
Detective Jim Dunbar - 77 Detective Karen Bettancourt - 47 Detective Tom Selway - 23 Lieutenant Gary Fisk - 19 Chief Tunney - 17 Dr. Alan Galloway - 17 Artie Steckle - 13 Walter Clark - 13 Christie Dunbar - 13 Detective Marty Russo - 9 Sonny Famigletti-7 Detective Terry Jansen - 3 Nick Dyson - 0 (he should have been killed off with the last post - but I'm not going to do it!)
Will someone confirm the numbers, please?

Those numbers look right now, Lori. Never let it be said that I would let a serial killing pass me by. I just checked on and there is someone asking to "take Nick out please." OK
Nick Dyson happened to be in the subway the day the terrorist were on board Jim's train. He saw Lori emerge from the subway with Jim and he saw Jim show her where she could wait for her friends to arrive. Thinking Lori was possibly Jim's wife, he feels he must get revenge for the trouble Jim caused between he and Karen. (He had met Mrs. Dunbar already at Walter's racket, and Lori bears a striking resemblance to Christie. ) He follows Lori and her friends out of the subway on their way to Canal Street (to buy Jim's Fedora). They dodge quickly across Canal after looking both ways, Nick only checks to his left in order to keep his eye on "Mrs. Dunbar" all the time clutching the brass knuckles in his pocket. In his haste he does not even see the bus barrelling down Canal. Whoops! RIP Nick. (If only for a moment Lori, you were Jim's wife. Was it good for you?)

Oh, Mary, if only for that one, brief, fleeting moment, not only was I Mrs. James Dunbar, but even though conjured in the mind of a very disturbed man, I looked like "Mrs. James Dunbar" too. BIG SIGH!! And I really do hope that he (Jimmy/Ron/Wade) will wear that fedora for you on Saturday night!

And if he does, Lori, I can say, "Gee I know where you got that Fedora, from Lori Longlashes right?" No, no, no, do not worry. I will be very well behaved and not involve him in my silly games, if I am still conscious.

Since I'm the first to play on March 8th, you just know I'm going to have to do The Pilot, which I could watch all . . . day . . . long. Detective Jim Dunbar + + For leaving safe cover, for grabbing Terry's gun, and for that one last brilliant piece of marksmanship. Christie Dunbar - - For not knowing a drained and exhausted man when you see one, honey. Push, push, push, nag, nag, nag, me, me, me. Sheesh! Detective Karen Bettancourt + + For telling Jim what color your eyes were, and treating us all to that lovely smile. Detective Jim Dunbar - 85 Detective Karen Bettancourt - 51 Detective Tom Selway - 25 Lieutenant Gary Fisk - 21 Chief Tunney - 17 Dr. Alan Galloway - 17 Christie Dunbar - 13 Artie Steckle - 13 Walter Clark - 13 Detective Marty Russo - 13 Sonny Famigletti- 3 Detective Terry Jansen - 3

What? No one's playing today? In honor of March 8th, how about a few more memorable moments from The Pilot? Detective Jim Dunbar + + "They're mine." (So who knows where he got the evidence bag or found time to sneak into the bathroom and pull out some of his artfully streaked hair? It was still a very cool -- and a very satisfying -- moment.) Christie Dunbar + + For managing to keep the nervousness out of her voice as Jim walked out the door. Detective Tom Selway + + For the only genuine welcome Jim got that day -- even if he did slam him later with those cracks about paperwork. Detective Jim Dunbar - 87 Detective Karen Bettancourt - 51 Detective Tom Selway - 27 Lieutenant Gary Fisk - 21 Chief Tunney - 17 Dr. Alan Galloway - 17 Christie Dunbar - 15 Artie Steckle - 13 Walter Clark - 13 Detective Marty Russo - 13 Sonny Famigletti- 3 Detective Terry Jansen - 3
