Detective Tom Selway--for his "he almost got you killed" comment to Karen as if Jim had somehow dragged her to Randy Lyman's against her will. Detective Marty Russo--"if you held out on us", accusing Jim of not being a team player when he had made it pretty clear he didn't want him as part of the team Christie Dunbar++for wanting to be a part of Jim's 'big day' by offering to drop him at the station and wanting to know how it went later

What? Am I the only one playing? Ah well, blame it on the heat. Since it hit over 105 today where I am, let's try for some temperature-related scoring. And let's get going, people! We're no more done with this game than we are with this show. There. I said it.Detective Jim Dunbar + (For never losing his cool except when needled by a certain other detective. So what was he supposed to do, Marty? Make that trip to Lourdes just so he could spot a fleeing perp? ) Detective Karen Bettancourt ++ (For never seeming cold in your teeny tiny little jackets, even when your colleagues were in full suits and overcoats.) Christie Dunbar - - (Cool? Try icy. Brrrrrr.)* *Houston, we have a problem. Why this solo cap of Jim? I just tried to use screencaps of Jim and Christie in the kitchen scene from The Pilot, and they are now -- suddenly and inexplicably -- tagged as being from "Up on the Roof." These are caps I've used before, innumerable times. I love that we have members adding in lovely caps, but it's all about PROOFREADING. Watch what you're doing to a site that's worked for months, please. Detective Jim Dunbar - 33 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 20 Detective Marty Russo - 18 Christie Dunbar - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 11 Detective Tom Selway - 7 Dr. Alan Galloway - 6

Hey, Mags, checked my work, since I was adding to the Pilot today, just in case I inexplicably rearranged everything, but I don't see what you see. The kitchen scene, few as we have, are all in the Pilot on page 4. And there were none from the Pilot in Up on the Roof. As far as I can tell, bjobsessed and I have both been extraordinarily careful with our categorization, and nothing is out of place. If you can find something specific in Photobucket that is in the wrong place, I'm sure we'd be happy to fix it. --GB

Thanks, O Muppet Goddess, but please double-check the coding. I am not making this up. I posted caps for the game twice, only to hit Preview and have them come up as shots from "Up on the Roof." When I stupidly suggested more caps, all I meant was pinch them from the old blindjusticecaps photobucket account, where they are perfectly sized and crystal clear -- not try to make your own. My bad.

No, I am here...I think. The temp today is a cool 94 degrees, heat index of 100-110, in the shade I am trying to be coherent so here goes... Lt. Gary Fisk--for his 'gloryhound' comment to Jim, not outright accusing him of hijacking the tongue collector case but grandstanding none the less Detective Karen Bettencourt++for giving the new guy the benefit of the doubt at their first solo crime scene even if she expected him to fall flat on his face Detective Jim Dunbar--for his inability to read the minds of his wife and female partner. He seems so adept at reading the minds of perps and witnesses, possesing some kind of sixth sense. Too bad it doesn't translate to those closest to him. Detective Jim Dunbar - 31 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 22 Detective Marty Russo - 18 Christie Dunbar - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 9 Detective Tom Selway - 7 Dr. Alan Galloway - 6
Borrowed from the "Funny Caption" game (because I can't think of anything new right now): Detective Jim Dunbar -- for making Hank wait in the car, next to a fire hydrant Detective Karen Bettencourt -- for parking crooked (didn't you ever learn how to parallel park?) Detective Marty Russo -- for giving Jim "cheap-ass Scotch" for his "combat pay" Detective Jim Dunbar - 29 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 20 Detective Marty Russo - 16 Christie Dunbar - 14 Lt. Gary Fisk - 9 Detective Tom Selway - 7 Dr. Alan Galloway - 6

Christie Dunbar--for forgetting that you told Karen that you got your earrings at a trunk show and getting her the address of some store instead Detective Karen Bettencourt++for instinctively knowing what the right topic would be when suddenly left alone for some one on one with Christie. Detective Marty Russo++ the leather jacket was a nice touch. Finally taking some fashion hints from Jim, I see.

Detective Jim Dunbar+for trusting Christie's sense of fashion Lt. Gary Fisk++for wearing suspenders alone and not giving in to the temptation to partner them with a belt. There's no use in overkill. Detective Tom Selway--maybe the real reason your girlfriend hasn't moved in is because of what is lurking in your closet.
Detective Jim Dunbar - 30 Detective Karen Bettencourt - 22 Detective Marty Russo - 18 Christie Dunbar - 12 Lt. Gary Fisk - 11 Dr. Alan Galloway - 6 Detective Tom Selway-5

Too funny! Well it may or may not be a blooper. I don't know anything about trunk shows nor had even heard of the term before B/J but when I was in Chicago in October on the way to the hotel, I saw a sign in a window of a department store, Filenes(?) or some other. I'm not sure, and it said, "Trunk Show here Saturday." So in that case, it could be a trunk show in a store. Does anyone know what a trunk show is exactly, and do they have them at department stores as a rule?

Does anyone know what a trunk show is exactly, and do they have them at department stores as a rule? There is such a thing as a trunk show and from what I've heard they usually happen at very high end stores. So it would make sense that Christie would be able to give Karen an address for a store, I'm guessing the one where she attended the trunk show. Edit to include this link that I just found:www.lookonline.com/trunk.html

When I worked alongside Hachette-Filippachi Magazines (Elle, Glamour, etc.), they had quarterly trunk shows consisting of designer merchandise, jewelry, etc. They were great fun!! And awesome prices.

Hey, how about a little "Seoul Man?" Detective Karen Bettancourt - - (For her crack about Dunbar finding his way back to the car. Not unreasonable given the circs, but still . . . ) Christie Dunbar + + (For the black turtleneck, silk skirt and fab pumps: the only scene in which she truly looked like a Manhattan fashionista.) Detective Tom Selway + + (For restraining Russo -- something we all wish he'd done more often.) Christie Dunbar + + (For the black turtleneck, silk skirt and fab pumps: the only scene in which she truly looked like a Manhattan fashionista.) Funny you should mention that outfit, mags. I can't look at it without remembering the outfit our receptionist used to wear on Halloween -- black top and orange pleated skirt. But, then again, I would never be mistaken for a fashionista! ;D

Well . . . maybe only fashionista as opposed to the shrunken rock-encrusted T-shirt from the last scene of "Up on the Roof" (Did I give you karma for your Funny Caption on that one? I meant to!) or her Xena Warrior Princess drag at Walter Cooke's racket. And does Ms. Dunbar have stock in Con Ed or what? Wassup with those two lamps merrily burning away in full sunlight?
