Happy Halloween The Eighth had their Halloween Party. Tom and Karen came as Laurel and Hardy. But Jim won First Prize For the very best disguise. And he even gave blessings to Marty.Mary, I loved both your limericks but especially this one. Kathy, yours was good too. I still don't have the courage to try one myself so my hat's off you you. I'm with the queen on this one.

There once was a show called Blind Justice. To know it was great you must trust us. Some execs sent a fax "Give this show the ax" So who's left to still love it? "Just us." Kudos to you, rducasey, and I know you inspired me (This really is a lot of fun). Who says Blind Justice is gone? On this board it truly lives on. We'll be talkin' 'bout Jim And what happened to him For many a dusk until dawn. The screencap has nothing to do with the limerick . . . I just felt like looking at it.

You know how if you stare at something for a really, really, really long time your eyes go all swimmy and start to play tricks on you? I was hoping if I stared at that cap long enough he might take off that stupid T-shirt. Nope.

Oh, first Queen of Limericks - from a former limerick writer - t'would appear that we have a Princess in the making!!
Kudos to both of you for your rhyming odes to the demise or lack thereof, of our beloved Blind Justice. Well done!
Of course, the Queen has a good point - what would they be without screencaps?

I can't bear to see this guy fall off the end of the board so I will try to continue the saga with a poem below. Now the balls in your court Kathy. This thread was started two months ago and today I have finally gotten the courage to attempt a very simple, basic one...just to see if I could do it. There was a hot guy from New York City, and two girls who thought him quite pretty. They went on a trip To stand by his hip, And found him quite charming and witty. Kathy asked "Would you please be so kind As to sign this? He said, "I don't mind". When her pen top went bouncing It was he who went pouncing. And gave us a peek at that handsome behind.(Disclaimer: I tried to be a bit more genteel and rhyme with derriere, but it did not work. Sorry)

Darn you guys -- I'm supposed to be working this afternoon. This is turning into an obsession (Oh, like I needed another one). Stephen Bochco's a helluva guy Who writes novels both wicked and sly. But the best thing he's done Was the blind dude with the gun . . . But no Emmys? Oh, I could just cry.

Oh, just shoot me now. Marty Russo's an interesting feller (Albeit somewhat of a yeller), But my cool I just lost At his nasty riposte Comparing Our Jim to Ms. Keller. To give Marty Russo his due, He was peeved that they'd sussed out a clue. But my kin in the South Would say "Wash out his mouth. This is just not what gentlemen do!" PS. Hey, Longlashes, we only have a page and a half of caps in "Marlon's Brando," hint, hint.

This is awfully sober for a limerick but . . . I can't stop. I can't, I can't, I can't. Aaaaaaaah! Terry Jansen is one messed-up guy -- At the shootout he won't even try. Cowardice is a knife That will cut though his life. Even blindness beats living a lie.Any excuse to put up that screencap. MODIFIED TO ADD:Help! Will someone please, pretty please, post a new limerick so I can't accuse myself of triple posting?! I have two in reserve. I'm a limerick junkie. ;D

I was hoping if I stared at that cap long enough he might take off that stupid T-shirt. Nope. I love this!!!! I swear that if you look at some of these screen caps long enough, he DOES move! Maybe because of the swimmy eyes playing tricks, but more likely because after you have seen each episode about 100 times, just looking at one screencap will replay the entire scene in your head.

I'm a limerick junkie. ;D You are right, Maggie, it is addicting. I have been out all afternoon and composed this one on my way home. (It's a little sober, too, for a Limerick). So go ahead and post those two in reserve. I'll work on another one in the meantime to take up Mary's challenge. Dunbar put his life on the line At the bank when the bullets did whine. When Terry, he froze, But Dunbar, he rose, In a moment, his life to re-define.

Oh, look, we have reformed them! Apparently all it took was a little jump start and the creative juices are off and flowing! Welcome new limerick authors and keep them coming!

There is a fine actor named Ron Whether film or stage he is on His acting is quite magic Be it funny or tragic. Can someone tell us please - where has he gone? Modified - Just realized I had the word "whether" in their twice, so got rid of one of them.
