It only recently aired in Australia, beginning on November 30 2005 and finishing just a few weeks ago. How I miss it so.
I doubt it will be rerun in Australia, unfortunately.

Nice to be here.
I have been living and breathing Jim Dunbar and co. for many months now. My windpipe is all clogged up. Or something.

Welcome, Spoony! We understand the clogged windpipe syndrome, absolutely. You have found a wonderful, articulate, passionate and only slightly insane group of like-minded individuals with which to play. Hey, the show ended here almost a year ago here, and we are still finding things to say about various episodes. Mags

Oh, you Oz gals -- so open and friendly. I have good close friends in NSW, Sydney to be exact, and I only wish I could cough up the plane fare to come Down Under. Throw another shrimp on the infamous barbie and pour me a glass of that good Blue Mountain Shiraz -- Australians are far closer to Americans than either one of us are to the Brits, I've found. We're open, we're slightly cranky, and we speak our minds. Good on ya! ashatan, have you checked out this board's recap threads for the earlier episodes? I don't want to be a spoiler if you're waiting for videos from a stateside pal, but you can get a wonderful sense of the episodes there, also in the heated -- and detailed -- discussions that followed. We are nothing if not passionate! Not to mention international. Love ya, Mags

Spoony!!! Why didn't you tell me you joined? Spoony & I spent every Wednesday evening on the phone, watching BJ together. Then discussing the episode into the wee hours of the morning And driving our other friends slightly mad with talk of 'Blindman Jim' (our nickname for the show hehe). And then there's the expeditions to the DVD stores to find Ron flicks We've been good influences on eachother. Ashatan- where in Aus are ya? I, too am loving it here Good conversations, good people, if slightly outside the box (and I mean that in the NICEST possible way!

I just wanted to add my welcome aboard to everyone! This is such an interesting and fun board--something I look forward to to help unwind at the end of the day. Who knew I'd be conversing with people not only in a different time zone (don't get me going there, just had to change the clocks because we are now going on daylight savings time!!!!) but different hemispheres who share the same obsessions!

Love your signature FP! How did you make that? Thank you I'm very proud of it actually. I have too much time on my hands hehe. Meaning I'm messing around with Photoshop when I should be doing homework. Actually made it for 'Spoony' to use on another forum (Buffy related actually), liked it so much i decided to use it for myself over here Hoosier- We just got off Daylight Savings time here lol. However not all the clocks in our house have been changed..... makes for some fun

Ashatan Thankyou to everyone for being so nice and friendly. I can't believe you missed the first 6 episodes! Have you downloaded the audio descriptions? They're very close to watching the episodes. And you get to giggle every time the narrator describes something with fancy adjectives. Where in Australia are you from? Me and FP are Melbourne girls. Except I'm far superior to her. FAR. I miss having an excuse to chat to wee hours of the morning with FP now that we don't have Blindman Jim to watch.

Hi FP, HI Spoony, I am also a Melbourne girl!
How I would have loved to have someone to chat to after the shows, I spent my evenings making up excuses to stay up and watch the shaws as DH was not at all imterested and I have not shared myobsession with him ( He sneers at TV, let alone a Blind cop with a Gun !)
I am awaiting my personally pirated copies from the states. How about when I get them we do a season run and follow ups like they have done here?
Cheers,
Natascha
