I actually found the phone number first, quite accidentally, a slip of the finger and an OOPS, it worked out that I actually got a human and a very helpful one at that. There was no forwarding from the previous number, no directory listing for Bochco, absolutely nothing to go on! But, once I managed to get a hold of the new number, the address part of it was simple!
May I just say that he has the nicest staff - the young guy who answers the phone is an absolute delight and having had a conversation with his publicist, I can say she is equally wonderful. But, somehow, none of that surprised me!

What's the phone number? Maybe it won't matter, but it can't hurt to send the guy a letter and call. If nothing else it will be encouraging for him.

While I think Mr. Bochco would be very appreciative of our testaments to Blind Justice, I believe those best delivered best in writing. When I finally found his number (and it took weeks!) I used it simply to determine where his offices had moved so we could copy him on our letter writing campaign for the release of the DVD and to try to determine who we needed to contact regarding the release. Bochco Productions has answered both of those questions. Let's move forward with our mission to have Blind Justice released to the home video market - and let's do so in writing! If we want to call anyone in that regard it should be the powers that be at ABC, not Bochco. I am not going to post his number here because for whatever reason, it was not easily obtainable, is not currently available to the general public through directory assistance or updated anywhere on the web. I am not going to be the one to make it public record (we are not the only ones who have access to this board!)

About 15 years ago, some friends and I who were interested in film preservation were bugging an executive at MGM to release, on videotape, a collection of classic MGM silent films . . . The man we wrote to was Director of Product Development for MGM, not the head of the company. . . . So. It's the Director of Product Development -- or whatever the job is called -- that will do us the most good. I came across this: Bruce Gersh, senior vice president of business development, ABC Entertainment and Touchstone Television I don't know if this is the right guy - "business development" instead of "product development" - but I figured I would throw his name out there.

It's nice to know that you found the same information I did - if they are from two different sources, that only serves to confirm that we are barking up the right tree - I HOPE!

Have just logged on to tvshowsondvd.com and registered my vote for Blind Justice, asking for it to be released as a box set and to include behind the scenes (including showing how Ron researched for the role), outtakes, interviews, bloopers, the works.

Welcome to the board! I also put my two cents in on this site and just looked at it today to see what was happening there. Glad to know someone else is adding their vote!

Absolutely welcome to the Board! According to www.tvshowsondvd.com, Blind Justice is currently ranked as follows: Voting Results Unreleased Rank: 765th Overall Rank: 1171st Season Set: 353 (100%) Best of: 52 (15%) Individual Episodes: 60 (17%) Total Number of Voters: 354 Those are not very encouraging numbers - especially the overall rank of 1,171st out of how many shows, I don't know. And perhaps I am silly or overly-hopeful, but I rush home from work everyday to see what is in the mail. Needless to say - as if it is any big surprise - Nada, Nil, Nothin!

This is neat to see. Where do you find this on the site? I've never seen this section. I guess the individual episodes is all the people who want to see Fancy Footwork who missed it. I'm sure this is a standard form, but the "best of" made me laugh. Obviously designed with shows with many seasons in mind!

Hmmm. I registered on this site back in May, and, unlike the late lamented amazon.com listings, you can't register more than once. That being said (ah, those useful Fisk-isms!), I was able to enter, quickly, another email message to them, text as follows: Please, please, please, send your request to ABC to release Blind Justice on DVD. (They are the parent company, not Twentieth Century Fox, as your site lists.) The show may have been cancelled, but it quickly attained the status of an overlooked masterpiece: a sharp, gritty, beautifully acted and smartly written Steven Bochco drama with an Emmy-caliber cast and superb production values. The more intelligent and savvy critics "got it," as did eight million solid viewers every week. Please release this show on DVD, if for no other reason than that those of east of the Rockies never saw the 13th (and last) episode. Thank you, Maggie in ConnecticutPS. Never ever mention to the powers that be that we've all seen "Fancy Footwork" thanks to our generous (and TiVo-owning) fellow board members!
