I know The Beatle's are known for some fabulous music - but Maxwell's Silver Hammer? I hated this song - and I still do!
Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer came down upon her head Clang! Clang! Maxwell's silver hammer made sure that she was dead

Great topic, guys! I'm a little sad because I adore Another One Bites the Dust by Queen and this... "The Little Drummer Boy" David Bowie and Bing Crosby" ...is one of my favorite songs ever. Queen and Bowie! Hey! They made Under Pressure together, which is another one of my all time favorites. I have to agree. I'm a big fan of both Queen and Bowie. One of my favorite covers/duets ever was when David Bowie and Annie Lennox covered "Under Pressure" at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. My vote for the all-time worst song would be: "Bad to the Bone" by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. After that, I go by genre. I don't like rap or hip-hop. I also don't care for the "teeny-bopper bands."

I figured you might like that one! ;D Modified because something weird happened to the quotes and made the page get all stretchy. Carry on.

You don't have to turn to forgettable pop or rock for lousy lyrics -- even the greats fall down a well once in a while. Case in point a song by the fabulous Rogers & Hart from the original score of Pal Joey -- in which, Jeopardy fans, a young song and dance man named Gene Kelly made his Broadway debut, and which included a song called "You Musn't Kick It Around" with the following lyric: If my heart gets in your hair You musn't kick it around . . . Eeeeuuuwwwww. What a revoltin' image. But, as the show also included the songs "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered," "My Funny Valentine," and "If They Asked Me," we can forgive them.

I wasn't quite sure where to post this but did anyone see twisted sister on Jay Leno? They sang Oh come all ye Faithful. It was a riot! Nothing wrong with the song but after they got done with it...pretty dark and twisted alright. You can see it on you tube.

I'm sorry, but "Christmas Shoes" is by far the worst I've ever heard. Sorry if I'm offending anyone out there that may like it, but talk about your throw-myself-off-a-building songs! OMG!! I heard that song for the first time this Christmas season, and you are right, it is the worst ever. It is horrible and sad and just awful.
