Juli, I don;t want to be a spoiler but I came across this and wanted to share it.
Nip/Tuck actress Joely Richardson has had to quit her job on the popular show for a family emergency concerning her teen daughter, Daisy, with her ex-husband Tim Bevan. Joely reportedly told TV Guide that when Daisy was born she was diagnosed with circulation problems, which would affect her life once she had developed into adolescence. British born Joely says she will return to London to help her daughter through multiple leg surgeries.
"Surgeons and hospitals have been a big part of our lives," she says. "We were always told that she would have to have more surgeries when she got older. The time has come."
Joely says that she knew this day would come, and there was really nothing to think twice about.
"I love my work but I had to be in two places at once and I thought, 'If it were all over tomorrow, what would I regret?' It would be not being there for her."
She added that she does hope to one day be able to return to the show.

I was a bit behind on Nip/Tuck so I have avoided this thread. I missed one episode but I am pretty much caught up on what is going on.
I am not going to miss Julia in the least. I hated her whining and. I think that is Joely Richards on emotion - whine. I did want to see what might happen with her and Marlo, but I am guessing they wouldn't have followed that storyline much anyway.
Man oh man, will James ever be done with these people. She is one sneaky bitch. I am wondering what will happen with Christian and Michele. It was quite nice to see Christian be a bit whipped. Selling his apartment? Wow.

Aw, I liked Joely Richardson, especially this year with the Conor plotline, and I'm sorry to see her go if for no other reason that it also means goodbye to Peter Dinklage. And it also means that unless she returns to the show, we won't have The Divine Vanessa as the mother from Hell. I do think it's funny that, apparently, everything is flipped and Christian's going to be the one with the difficult marriage (maybe), and Sean's going to be on the loose. The promos for tonight's episode, with Sean as a drunken department store Santa Claus, looked rawther amusing -- they owe us some comedy, darn it! PS I just want to smack Kimber. What a controlling witch.

I love the way Sean and Christian seem to be exchanging lives!

Just when you think you've got this show figured out, they zap you in another direction. Mouse, when you've watched the season finale, we'll talk. Puhsonally, I love where they left us.

Just when you think you've got this show figured out, they zap you in another direction. Mouse, when you've watched the season finale, we'll talk. Puhsonally, I love where they left us. I left LA and McNamara/Troy came to town. The upcoming season should be very interesting. Some of my questions: 1. Is Michelle gone for good? 2. What about Matt, will he stay with Kimber and the baby or might he follow his dads to LA? 3. Might Christian and Sean move in together and share the care for Wilbur? It might help mend Sean's broken heart. 4. Is Liz gone forever? Might she follow them to LA too? So I love where they left it and I hope to see more of Escobar's wife, what a freak-show she is!
