I know from the Feedomland thread that at least some of you watch Nip/Tuck. I admit it, I am hopelessly addicted. As they say, I am horrified but I cannot look away. This season they seem to be taking the weirdness, or creepiness, up to a whole new level. I would love to hear other's takes on this well, let's just call it remarkable, show. Let me also add that Julian McMahon is eye candy of the first degree.

More later -- I'm supposed to be working, hah! -- but oh yeah! Creepiness to a new level and I am totally addicted, even though I close my eyes during ALL the surgery scenes. Great acting, and how much did we LOVE The Divine Vanessa and Joely sharing that bong last week? "Are you going to bogart that damned thing, Mother, or let me have some?" Heh.
But they do seem to be using Matt as some sort of karmic punching bag this season. Give the kid a break, already!
And you called it -- Julian is major eye candy.
Almost makes you forget that we would rather be watching another show -- and we all know which one -- on Tuesday nights at ten.

I love how much Vanessa seems to relish playing that role. I also loved the bong scene between Matt and Granny in the same episode. As for Matt's karma. I think the boy had it coming. He is one messed up kid! John Hensley, the actor who plays him, seems to be coming into his own this season, in my opinion, his performances are getting better and better. Oh, and I will never look at Famke Janssen the same way again!!!

Regarding Famke, they've put the idea into my head and I see her sort of mannish now in everything. How's that for flattering? Julian McMahon has never looked better. On the talk shows, he dresses like a million bucks -- think he's showing his suave side to be the next Bond, James Bond? And his acting seems to have improved too. He used to have one expression in response to the other characters, now he seems to have developed several. MEEEOW! But yeah, the creepiness is getting a little out of hand. The new partner apparently swings both ways, and it a bit much shock value stuff for me. But I can't look away either!

Do you remember Bruno Campos (the guy who plays Quentin) on that Christina Applegate sitcom that lasted about two weeks a couple of seasons ago? The character could not have been more different. I am glad to see him working. He too is eye candy. I had the first three episodes on tivo and finished the last one this morning. All I can say is WOW! It is really starting to creep me out. How about Sean punching Matt? I didn't see that coming. I have walked away from each episode shaking my head. I can't wait for next Tuesday!!

Ok all you closeted Nip/Tuck fans, we MUST talk about last night's episode!! Well not so much the actual episode, but the scenes from the next!! OMG, Christian the carver?! Oh my. And the scene with his birth mother. I am holding my breath until Tuesday! It almost feels like it felt last spring waiting for the next Blind Justice, almost.

Yeah . . . but this new seaason is creeping me out. "Like totally." Of course Christian's not The Carver, not unless the actor's leaving the show mid-season. (When in doubt, go for The Least Disposable Actor Factor.) I love it . . . I really really do . . . but it's almost a little too weird this year! I'm just waiting for baseball to be over so I can get back to Prison Break!

I'm just waiting for baseball to be over so I can get back to Prison Break! This is like deja vu all over again! My sister and I had this exact conversation about last week's episode. It was just a little too over the top. They reigned it in a little this week, but the previews for next week's show make it look like it is right back "out there."

No, no, no -- Christian is absolutely not the Carver.
As Mags says, it'll be the most disposable actor. But it's got to be someone who knows something about and access to medicine. I think it's a guy. My vote goes to Bobolit. He keeps showing up, and he's just the guy you love to hate.
But what about Kimber? She's a smart cookie, and has two distinct sides to her personality.
But first we have to wade through next week's soap opera. Weren't you just squirming when the woman was not completely under the anesthesia? Yee-oww!

Weren't you just squirming when the woman was not completely under the anesthesia? Yee-oww! I actually had to turn it off and come back to it later, it was just too much for me to take! I'm pretty sure Christian is not the carver, but having him be arrested as a suspect, very interesting. I like the Kimber theory. What about Matt, is he a possibility? Am I the only one who would like to see Julia's hair styled differently? I am getting a little tired of that half ponytail she's always got going on.

After this week's episode, with that weirdo making women out of spare parts and yet another one of Sean's self-pitying rants . . . . . . it it me or is this show really slipping over the edge of the Earth? It used to be creepy in a sly, tongue-in-cheek stylish way. Now? It seems just creepy, and sick, sick, sick. But Joan Rivers is coming back next week so we'll get a few laughs, which means I'll keep watching. But the last few episodes really have left me wanting a shower afterwards.

I just finished this week's episode and I couldn't agree with you more. They are just going waaayyy too far over the edge. At the end there I was starting to think maybe Sean is The Carver. Oh my, how much more twisted can they get? I am also enjoying looking at Julian McMahon less and less as they show how little soul his character has. Don't even get me started on Gina. This was one of the creepiest hours of television I think I have ever watched. When he said her name was Laura and she was his sister, BLECCHH!!! On the bright side, I am still liking Bruno Campo as Quentin and I am looking forward to Joan's reappearance. Let's see if they can pull this out. I must admit, I am dubious.

Poor, poor, poor Christian. Poor, poor, poor Sean. Creepy, creepy, creepy Quentin. Nasty, nasty, nasty Matt. Annoying, annoying, annoying Julia.
That, in my opinion, sums up this week's episode. At least no one put sperm on their face.

I really need to talk about this show!!! Someone please (Doobrah, Maggie) jump in!
I tivo'd this week's episode and so far have watched about half of it. All I can say is that Matt needs to start listening to someone or something other than little Matt. That boy is heading for a world of trouble!
