Misty West, girlfriend of Les Knowles, was on Ugly Betty last night. She was an actress whose body was tweaked a la computer to fit Mode's very exacting and totally skewed standards or feminine beauty. She was actually a nice person who befriended Betty and wound up saving Betty's job.

The new TV Guide had a brief article on Rena Sofer. She is going to have recurring roles on Heroes and 24. She plays the wife of Adrian Pasdar's character on Heroes and the wife of Paul McCrane, evidently the new resident bad guy, on 24. Marisol Nichols is also going to be on 24 this season.

Someone on the board has been guiding me through Buffy the Vampire Slayer and kindly loaning it to me season by season. Well, imagine my surprise at finding out that Joan Tuxhorn is Willow's mother!

One of the Puerto Ricans (I don't remember if it was Johnny or Luis, but I'm thinking Johnny) played a chop shop owner on Numb3rs this week.

Saw Ty Largent on a new Pizza Hut commerical last evening and , while watching a rerun of Without a Trace, saw Lloyd Crider. Also on WaT, the officer investigating a robbery was named "Officer Bettencourt".

Blind Justice guest stars were everywhere this week. First of all, Jeff Dorsey appeared on Gilmore Girls as a guy selling fruit and vegetables to Sookie (who then feels guilty using them because it competes with her husband's fruit/vegetable business). It was nice to see him as someone who isn't creepy or depraved for a change. If you'll recall, he ate doll heads on Grey's Anatomy, was a serial killer on Psych, and was a creepy pot-growing cop on House so when he showed up at the Dragonfly Inn with a basket of vegetables, I half expected him to pull a mask over his face and start swearing in Korean.
Next, Smarmy Clay was back as the rather dreamy (but adulterous) professor Landry on Veronica Mars.
I caught both shows on tape yesterday and then went straight to Bones, which featured--you guessed it!--Eric of Marybeth fame AND Bo Matheson in a fun little episode about Boxing (but the illegal kind).
And as an aside...I have so much fun watching Bones, even when there aren't any BJ guest stars.
Modified to add:
Interesting point about Bones: David Boreanaz (who is, in my opinion, on a par with a certain Blond Dude when it comes to--ahem!--physical attributes) plays a Desert Storm vet turned FBI man and Bo Matheson plays an old Army buddy he runs into who didn't do so well after returning home. The Iraq angle reminded me of one BJ episode while the boxing angle reminded me of another.

Missed Bones last night because of Jericho. Guess Eric was doing a double-header . And he was a good (well, sort of good) guy on Jericho. He did go out heroically, giving the brothers a chance to escape. Speaking of Jericho, it was nice to see Michael Gaston have a little bit more to say and do last night. The way he fixed the character of Hawkins with a look reminded me very much of Fisk.

I didn't watch the show but Chief Tunney was on CSI:NY last night. He had a beard so I had to take a closer look. He was playing a police captain who was giving Bonasera a hard time when I went to bed.

From a quick commercial, It looked like to me the guy who plays Sonny Famigletti is one of the principle actors on the new ABC comedy The Knights of Prosperity.

The opening scene of Numbers last night took place near the bridge and railroad yard of "Hoboken".
